Purple birthday

Good morning everyone, I hope all is well in your world...hugs

Are you ready for the big day? I have now done all my shopping and anything that hasn't been got will just have to be left LOL.

My card for today is another one using bits, those boxes are bottomless :o)

Unfortunately I had to use flash as the day was so dull, hence the glare!
The only thing new on this card is the SU greeting, cut with Spellbinders, even the base card was folded and cut a while ago LOL.
Pearlised paper flowers punched with Woodware, Xcut and EK Success.
Leaves cut with my one and only  Sue Wilson die set a while ago.
MME card backing cut With Cricut.
Pearls from stash and coloured with Copic pen.
The very pink gragonfly has been removed since I took the pic, the colour was too far out of place :o)

Another bits and pieces card

Good morning everyone, I hope all is well in your world...hugs.  For myself, I don't much like these unseaonable temperatures!
Can you believe that it is December already?
I had a wonderful day on Sunday with my crafting friends, (yes Christine, I did remember Viv's hug) it was our last get together of the year so we did our Secret Santa, and a wonderful day ended with us having dinner at Cosmo's in Derby. What could be more perfect?  :o)
Anyhow, here is my card for today.

Base card is my usual white linendcard from The Range, folded and cut to 7x5. That is the only new thing on this card.
Sentiment stamp is an old one from Penny Black, found it sitting in a box and it hadn't seen ink for some years.
The hexagon shapes were cut at a friend's house years ago, before I bought my own hexagon die set.
Flower was punched with EK Success,  centre punched with  McGill, also years ago.
I am determined to use all the bits from my boxes up, but it could take a long time LOL. I had forgotten how many there are!!!!!

Daisy birthday

Good morning everyone, I hope all is well in your world, here's a few hugs for those who want or need them {{{{{hugs}}}}}

I know that most of you are probably enjoying the current weather, but I'm afraid it is wiping me out, I feel so lifeless in all this heat. Bring back cool weather I say!

Onto my card for today. I have made one similar (but not quite the same) before, it is a style that I am quite partial too :o)

Base card is white linen from Papermill Direct, folded and cut to 7x5, then the edge punched with EK Success punch.
Flowers and leaves cut from scrap with Memory Box die (leaves) and Woodware punch (daisies).
Flower centres are jewelled brads bought years ago.
Sentiment stamped with My Creative Time :o)

Card for a DC friend who is struggling at the moment.

Good morning everyone, I hope all is well in your world {{{{{hugs}}}}} for all who need or want them.
What a beautiful morning it is with wall to wall blue sky and sunshine, although there was quite a frost when I got up!

I made today's card for for a lovely lady who has some health problems as well as looking after her husband.

I raided my stash for this one, the newest thing I have used is the white linen card from Papermill Direct, and I bought that several months ago!
I folded and cut the card to my favourite 7x5, then edged it with an old EK Success daisy punch which I had forgotten I had, but now I have rediscovered it I shall be using it again.....and again.....and again because it is so pretty!
I punched the flowers with a very old Woodware punch from scraps of card in my bit box. The brads for the flower centres I bought way back in the year dot.
Leaves cut with Memory Box die from a scrap of Papermania textured card.
Sentiment stamped with Versafine inkpad using a stamp from a My Creative Time set.

Purple bits and bobs, nothing new

Good morning Bloggers, no doubt most of you are basking in the sun but for me it is too much. Anything over 20 and I am like a limp rag!

I, for one will be glued to the TV screen this afternoon watching our boys in the Tour de France. Did anyone see how Froome and Porte completely took over yesterday? Not a tennis fan but hope that Murray will do well.

Here is another card made before my shoulder decided not to play. Thank goodness I am finally managing to get some crafting in now and will hopefully soon have new ones to show you LOL.
Anyhow, without more ado, here is my card made with bits from the scrap box apart from the base card.

Base card is hammered card from PMS way before the Mansfield shop closed. I found a matching piece in my scrap box just big enough for the Marianne cut and emboss folder, then  layered it onto a piece of mirri card which was just big enough too, then onto the base card.  Flower punched with EK Success and Xcut, spiky leaves punched with McGill and the other leaves are Memory Box die cuts. That's all there is to it, very cheap and very simple :o)
