First Christmas card for 2016

Good morning everyone, I hope all is well in your world...hugs

I am on holiday from work this week, and I had intended going to buy a new desktop PC because this one is getting to be so slow now. It is old and still has XP on it, but it has been a very good friend. I can't get rid of it though cuz my SCAL doesn't work on Windows 7 ( I have it on my laptop) so I am keeping it to use with my even more ancient Cricut. So, I will be using my old laptop as my main computer before long. Yes, most of my "use a lot" favourites are old, just like me LOL.

Anyhow, not buying another computer has allowed me to go internet shopping for dies, and I have ordered/bought no less that 7 singles/sets in the past week. I have received two sets (one of them used on my card for today) and hopefully the rest will arrive today or tomorrow.
In the meantime, methinks I may have a trip to Byrkley Park today or tomorrow, haven't been for quite a while!

The die set I have used on this is Stitched Square Layers from Memory Box, the other set is the rectangle version.
Sentiment was a gift from a Docrafts friend, and I love it so much that I promptly ordered it from Joanna Sheen, hoping it arrives today!
All white card is linencard from The Range and basecard is approx 6x6.
Not much else I can say except that I will be making it again :o)

Commissioned set of flower notecards

Good morning everyone, I hope all is well in your world...hugs

It's a lovely sunny start to the day here in the East Midlands :o)

My cousin asked me to make her a few notecards as she only has one left from the last lot. She loves my flower photographs and CAS, so these are what I made. You have only seen one of these flowers before and that is the first one, a dangly white clematis. All the others I took a couple of weeks ago at at Derby and Byrkly Park garden centres, except for the gerbera ones, which I took at my cousin's house on my previous visit. She always has beautiful flowers in her kitchen window.

I printed them all onto white linencard then folded and cut to 7x5.
I used various fonts for the computer generated sentiments.
Not much else I can say about them :o)

New labels +a card + a photograph

Good morning Bloggers, I hope all is well with you. I went to the doctor's early yesterday for my annual blood tests and an ecg because my blood pressure is up! Well, I am very happy to report that the old ticker is in tiptop, A1 condition so I should be good for at least a few more years :o)
Last night I was playing with PSP11 and came up with these labels for my work. Are they too obtrusive, or should I fade them out more?
Here is another camellia card, made for no particular reason other than I wanted to play!

Own photograph of course, feathered in PSP and text added. Foliage is a Marianne diecut and basecard is linen cut and folded to 5x7

Have you ever seen a hen up a tree?  Well it was a bush really! I took this at Byrkley Park on Sunday, I was in the right place at the right time because a couple of minutes later he/she got down from ther e.
The scroll used in my labels was created by my very good friend PatEssex (DC) and I used Papyrus font, one of my favourites :o)
