Back to my photographs, Christmas 7 and 8

Good morning everyone, I hope all is well in your world and that you haven't been adversely affected by the wild weather...hugs

I am giving the bits boxes a little rest and going back to my photographs for a  while.  I have resurrected some of my old robin photographs, this one being taken at Attenborough Nature Reserve some years ago :)

Both cards identical except for the matting colour, which I think makes them look quite different!
Base cards are my usual white linencard, folded and cut to 6x6.
I opend the photograph in Photoshop Elements 5 and used the cookie cutter tool twice to create the frame, once as is, then again in red.
Computer generated sentiment using the Smarty Pants font.
That's really all there is to them :o)

Pink poppy birthday

Good morning everyone, I hope all is well in your world...hugs

Thanks to a very kind blogger  who gave me a link, I bid for, and won, (for £8 +P&P) the retired Provocraft Tree set of dies used on my set of CAS tree cards so I will be able to make some more, big thanks to Jocelyn...hugs

My card for today uses only 1 piece from my bits boxes today and that is the image.

I stamped the image way back in the mists of time, and coloured with Sakura Gelly Roll Stardust pens. It's a shame that the shimmer is lost in the pic!
Stamp is a Hampton Arts one called Asian Poppy.
I was lucky enough to find one solitary A5 sheet of Papermania textured card of the right colour  in my stash, so I cut the mat out with Spellbinders and the Memory Box Poppy and Chloe Stem out of it.
Sentiment stamp is from old Stamps and Smiles set.
Base card is my usual white linen :o)

A bit of Christmas humour

Good morning everyone, I hope you are all warm, well, and not being blown about. I haven't looked out yet to see what happening but the wind sure is noisy!  I hope that all those peeps in Scotland without power are soon restored...hugs

Thank you for identifying the dies used on my CAS Christmas tree cards a couple of posts ago. I have now put a bid in for them and I am waiting to see if I win!
As for the trapezoid frames, I 'found' them at a friend's house last night and we did a swap so I now have them, and she has what she wants in exchange LOL.

I 'rediscovered' Greetings Card Factory on my computer (not used it for years) and found the image I have used inside this card, so I knew what I wanted to do with it as soon as I saw it. I had previously created the base card and cut the window in it, then put it aside because I didn't know what to do with it!

Basecard is Papermill white hammered, folded and cut to 6x6, then window cut with Cheery Lynn Die.
Trees cut with Lea'bilities and Stars with Memory Box dies.
Unfortunately I can't remember how I converted the image to print it in Word, which means it will be a one off :o)

Blue Hydrandea...

...and yes, I am still using my bits. The only thing new about this is the base card!

Good morning everyone, I hope all is well in your world...hugs.

Once again, my card for today is made up from my bits boxes LOL.

Base card is my usual white linen, folded and cut to 7x5.
Hydrandgea stamp is an old one from Rubber Stampede.
Coloured with Sakura Gelly Roll Stardust pens, a shame that you can't see the sparkle in the photograph.
Foliage is Cheery Lynn diecuts.
Made the topper some years ago and them lost it, but now it is found LOL.

Grand-daughter's money wallet

Good morning everyone, I hope all is well in your world and you have survived the festivities...hugs

I spent Christmas money on a new 1 Tb external hard drive because my old one was making very funny noises and I didn't want to risk losing my 20,000+ photographs. It took me 5 hours to get everythning transferred from the old to the new but I can breathe easily again now, thank goodness. I keep everything on the ext. drive, I save nothing at all to the computer or laptop drives. I also have a backup drive, just in case LOL.

It's a while since I used my photographs, and as my Grand-daughter Sian likes CAS and unfussy (no flowers) I thought this would be just right for her. Her birthday isn't until the 11th but she doesn't look at the blogs so it's safe to show it!

The base card is my usual white linencard from The Range.
I scored the A4 sheet a 5" and 10", the folded the flap inside the card before cutting it to 7".
The church spire you see reflected in the water sits atop the parish church at Attenborough, Notts. and is where a lot of our ancestors (paternal) were baptised, married, buried.
The photograph was taken across one of the lakes at Attenborough Nature Reserve a few years ago,  as was the bulrushes photograph at a different time. My good friend PatEssex (Docrafts) tubed the bulrushed for me. I opened both pics in PSP and merged them, then added the greeting using Smarty Pants font :o)

Christmas #2, 3, 4, and 5

Good morning everyone, I hope you are all warm and dry. It is very dark and wet here...hugs

As you can see in the title, I have 4 cards to share with you today, and I think it is safe to call them a CAS tree set LOL.

The base cards are white linencard from The Range, folded and cut to 7x5 and 6x6.
All of the bits are from my boxes again. I cut them way back in the mists of time at a friend's house and when I got home I consigned them into obscurity! Why did I do that? Who knows why crafters do anything LOL.
I think the diecuts are from Cuttlebug, well I know the funky frames definitely are,  and I am hoping that someone can tell me if the trees are still available. I have the number for the frames but would like to buy both if possible.
The two sentiments were stamped with SU :o)

Christmas #1 for 2015

Good morning everyone. Wishing you all a happy and Healthy New Year. Quite a few of us have had health problems in the past year,  so I hope these are all resolved for 2015...hugs

I finished work at 6.15 last night and not going back until next Monday Yayyyyyyy.

My card for today is as it says in the title, but the topper was rescued from the bin. You will probably remember all those hand coloured cards I made for my cousin's commission, well this one was a mess, I had gone way out of the lines with my copics and it looked dreadful so into the bin it went!
Anyhow, I decided to fetch it out of the bin and cut the image out and here it is :o)

I do intend to add Glamour Dust to the fluffy bits later on, too soon to add now or it would be all over the place before Christmas LOL.
This time I put my photograph behind a frame which is the negative from a previous card.
I quite like them standing in front of the frame, I hope you do too! Image from Karen's Doodles.
Coloured with Copics, of course.
I still love these characters so much I may well use them a lot again LOL.
Sorry I cannot remember where the stamp came from, call it another 'senior moment' :o)

I've been at the bits boxes again...

... and found this lovely image which I stamped at a friend's house some years ago and coloured at home, then for some unknown reason I consigned it to obscurity!

Good morning everyone, I hope you are all warm and well, or getting there...hugs
I can't believe the frozen snow is still with us after two days of sun. I live on the shady side of the street, so even though I don't go to work until the afternoon I still have to scrape the ice from the windscreen!

Wishing you all a Happy and healthy New Year...hugs

Here is my card for today, and I only used 1 bit from the boxes this time LOL.

What 'bit' did I use? The rose/script, sorry I don't know the make!
I used my Caran D'Ache watercolour pencils to colour it.
Matted with a scrap of Papermania textured card.
Basecard is Ivory textured card from PDA.
Pearlised card also from PDA, embossed with Couture Creations folder Giant Chain Wire.
Foliage dies from Memory Box.
Sentiment stamped and punched with SU :o)

Good morning Bloggers, and a happy and healthy New Year to all of you wherever you are...hugs

I see that some folks have posted their favourite 5 Christmas cards  so I thought I would do the same, although I am not entering them anywhere :o)

So, here they are in no particular order

There are others which I loved making, but I kept it to 5, otherwise I would be adding most of them :o)

Purple birthday

Good morning everyone, I hope all is well in your world...hugs

Are you ready for the big day? I have now done all my shopping and anything that hasn't been got will just have to be left LOL.

My card for today is another one using bits, those boxes are bottomless :o)

Unfortunately I had to use flash as the day was so dull, hence the glare!
The only thing new on this card is the SU greeting, cut with Spellbinders, even the base card was folded and cut a while ago LOL.
Pearlised paper flowers punched with Woodware, Xcut and EK Success.
Leaves cut with my one and only  Sue Wilson die set a while ago.
MME card backing cut With Cricut.
Pearls from stash and coloured with Copic pen.
The very pink gragonfly has been removed since I took the pic, the colour was too far out of place :o)
