What a session!
I had decided to try making my own aperture card using nesties (never made one before). The first one slipped as I put it through the rollers and I can tell you that a leaning oval looks daft so it went into the bin (Note to self; use a round or square nestie next time). The second one was a bit better but still not right but I thought that I would be able to do something with it. I tried to do a chalked/sponged/stamped scene inside but that ended up in the bin as well. By this time I am pulling my hair out and decided the third one would be my last of the session before I threw the lot out of the window arghhhhhhhhh.Sunday, 21 February 2010

Cards for men #4
The theme is GREEN and I decided that as my previous 2 cards for this challenge were more suited to the little man in the family I would make this one a no nonsense man's man card with no frills! Image is SU coloured with Copics, sponged with SU ink and cut with Nesties. Punched sentiment is also from SU, brads and cardstock from stash :o)Saturday, 13 February 2010
I've been playing
This is one using my own photographs of a beautiful Thai lady and a butterfly which I played around with in PSE. The DP is MME
For this one, I used a cotton pansy square which I bought from a quilting shop, framed it with a Nesties frame, added Sizzix leaves and an SU greeting. Quite a mixed batch :o)
This one is mainly SU and Nesties as you can see. Coloured with Copics and the DP is from stash, sorry, had it so long I can't remember where I got it. Another wartime wedding
This one is my Uncle Doug (Dad's brother) and Aunty Margery. I punched the flowers from pearlised white paper and the leaves are Sizzix. Journalling was printed in Ms Word.Thursday, 11 February 2010

I sponged with my new SU ink pad :o)Sunday, 7 February 2010
I did it again!
Well, after 4 days I just had to have a go to see if I could do one all by myself and here it is. With a prompt from a DC member, I made it using my own photographs which I took at Twycross Zoo in November, the main character being Ganesh Vijay, the newsest addition to their elephant family. He was 3 months old then and I hope to go back soon and take some more pics of him :o) The stamped images are from the SU Organic Grace set, and there is a small amount of HOTP DP there too :o)Wednesday, 3 February 2010
