A birthday card and a welcome

Good morning Bloggers.  First a welcome to Elaine, my latest follower :o)
Well the morning couldn't be more different from yesterday if it tried. Yesterday was blue skies and sunshine all the way and I was out walking round St Chad's Water in my cardi. This morning it is dull and grey, windy and quite cool!
Anyway, on to my card for today. It is a card for my favourite waitress at George's where I go for my lunch every Thursday.

The basecard is Bazzill, folded and cut on the Grand Calibur  to 6x6. Paper is from stash and I have had it so long I can't remember wher it was from. The sentiment and 50 were cut from Bazzill on the Cricut. Leaves were punched with Leone Em and flowers with Woodware punches, and tiny pearls from stash for the flower centres. Ooops! I nearly forgot to say that the flowers were punched from a scrap of paper which I used on another card!  :o)

Another great card, Jackie, I like the humour in the greeting and the check paper is terrific. Many thanks for your comment today - compared with the 'cupboard' I was in before the new craft room is ginormous :) Elizabeth x

Your March days sound like ours. It has been in the low 80's and sunny. We could actually have a drop in temperature and have snow. March is a very weird month for us. I am so wanting hot hot hot. My DH and I are flying to Seminole, Florida for Easter. I'm so excited....he is NOT...haha You must come to SC and stay with me and I will show you our beautiful state and take you to our beaches, botanical gardens and historical Charleston.
