A magnificent golden day + framed lily

Good morning everyone, what a wonderful medals day yesterday. I doesn't come much better than that does it :o) I went off to work at 2pm upset because I thought Jessica Ennis would be running just as I was setting off home and she waited for me! I was just in time to watch her magnificent performance, followed closely by the spectacular long jump and 10,000 metre gold medal performances, and I had seen the rowing golds and silver in the morning so my day was complete. A shame I had to miss the cycling gold but work gets in the way sometimes!
Anyhow, on to my card for today.

It doesn't get very much more simple than this one. I printed my feathered photograph and the sentiment onto pink Bazzill then cut and folded it to 5x7. Then I cut the frame with Nesties, attached the brads then lifted it on foam pads and that is all there is to it :o)

Good morning Jackie,

Yesterday certainly was quite something on the Olympic front, our athletes really have made us very proud. I can't begin to imagine what the atmosphere must have been like in that stadium last evening.

I love lilies, especially pink ones so you know I love your card

Have a good Sunday.

Beautiful card Jackie, I love how your frame really focuses on your pretty flower. IKWYM about work getting in the way of watching the Olympics, I think we should all have been given a fortnight off!
