One stamp six mini cards

Good morning bloggers, and what a cold wet windy start to the day it is brrrrrr. I hope you have it better where you are!
In January, I got out all of my Christmas stamps that haven't been used for a long time and stamped them up.  Every time I get a few minutes I colour one in and I thought it time I put some together. This is the first six.

This cheeky little chappie is from a Woodware set of clear stamps FRCL047 but I am not sure that they are still available. I've had them about 5 years now.
They are all 4x4 mini cards and as you can see I have varied the nesties used and the colours, otherwise they are all the same :o)

A photo, a digi image and a stamped image

Good morning bloggers on this lovely sunny day. Make hay while the sun shines becuz the rain is on it's way :o(
My offerings today are all flowers, the camelia is my own photograph, the lupin is a Delicious Doodles digi image coloured with copics, and the poppy is from a Papermania poppy set, also coloured with copics.

I had a great crafting day on Sunday and made 10 cards. The rest are Christmas cards which I will upload later :o)

Not my cup of tea...

...but it's a commissioned card for a 7 year old who loves everything pink, and the customer is delighted with it.

Base card is linen from the PMS, I ran the brilliance inkpad over it. Image is one I won some time back from FFF, coloured with copics and cut out with Nesties. Martha Stewart flutterby and Xcut dragonflies. Sentiment printed in Word, Annie BTN font, cut with SU punches. Ribbon from stash. I hope you like it better than I do :o)

Simple card from own photograph

Good morning everyone, I hope all is well in your world :o)
I took this photograph at Attenborough Nature Reserve some time ago and I had printed it out with no idea of what I was going to do with it! I finally decided that it had to be CAS so here it is.

Base card is plain white, mat is green pearlised from who knows where. Martha Stewart edge punch used and PB sentiment stamp. Ribbon scrap and pearls from stash :o)

Card for an ex pilot who loves barbecues

Good morning everyone. Well we had two days of frost in the morning and then wonderful sunshine the rest of the day, now we have dull and greay again! Oh well, I suppose worse things happen at sea!
I made this for a friend's son who loves Bar-B-Qs. He used to be a pilot and loves planes too :o)

Background is a photograph of Chatsworth House that I took a couple of years ago, and the plane in the sentiment oval is from a pic I took at Duxford last time I was there. I converted it to a pencil drawing in PSP.
I googled the bar-b-q image and coloured it with copics, and it is raised with foam pads.

Commissioned card

Good morning Bloggers, here I am sat sitting when I should be doing! This is the third murky morning running, c'mon now own up, who stole the sun?
I was asked to make a card with some glamour on it (right out of my comfort zone), I hope this one is glamorous enough :o)

Stamp used is New York Socialite from Stamps Happen. Found it in the bottom of a box of stamps, had it about 5 years and only used once before!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Coloured with copics and cut out using Scal/cricut. Sentiment printed in word and punched with SU. Ribbon and brad from stash. Base card is linen from PMS :o)

New home card...

...for a non blogging friend so hopefully it's safe to upload it :o)
Good morning folks, and what a cold and murky morning it is too! I hope you are all keeping warm.

This is a first for me, I always cut and fold my own cards, but this 8x8 complete with 24 others and envelopes was too cheap to miss :o)
My own backing paper, and I created the image using 2 of my own photographs, the toadstool being an ornament in my daughter's house and the background for it is a pic I took in Darley Park, Derby, some years ago. The punched flower and border are MME paper and the punches used are Martha Stewart and EK Success :o)

For a gardening friend

Good morning Bloggers. I hope it's not so grey and wet where you are but I am not complaining. The cataclysmic events in Japan make me realise how lucky we are. It just shows us that no matter how clever we think we are, Mother Nature will always win!

I made this for a gardening mad (non crafting) friend, I hope she likes it.
The background is my own photograph taken at Wollaton Hall, Nottingham some years ago.
I couldn't find a suitable image so I googled and found this one and coloured it with copics. Sentiment printed in Word using Annie BTN font. Punches used are SU, Martha Stewart and Leone Em :o)

Another commission from my cousin

This time for a selection of scenic notecards. I decided I would do some using my own photographs, and then a few stamped image ones to follow.

I have printed the pics onto photogrpah card, Ryman's smooth 200gsm card, and linen card so I can find out which she prefers.
I hope you are all well. As for me, I had to go back to work this week but the birthday lunches continue with one yesterday and another tomorrow :o)

What a wonderful surprise...

...I had yesterday, and what wonderful friends I have :o)
One of our crafting group had invited me out to lunch with her for my 70th birthday pressie. She picked me up yesterday lunchtime and off we went. She hadn't told me where we were going. When we arrived at the Rose & Crown at Middle Mayfield, Ashbourne, there was the rest of our crafting group sat sitting waiting for us, all apart from the Lovely Dizzy Di who is recovering from surgery, You were sadly missed Di. I hadn't a clue. Pauline and I had been chatting on the journey, about 40 minutes and I had asked how come we were going so far (she'd had to borrow my satnav cuz hers had stopped working) she said the place had been recommended by friends and I believed her every word!!!!!!!!!!!!
Anyhow, if you live near enough then go and sample the excellent food there, it was a wonderful meal in a beautiful old Inn with the best company any crafter could ever want.
Thank you so much to my wonderful friends, they are such beautiful people :o)
Unfortunately it's back to earth with a big bump now as I have to go back to work after my fantastic week off!

No cards so an old page to be going on with

Good morning Bloggers. I don't have any new cards to show at the moment so here is a scrapbook page a created about 3 years ago. It may be an unusual subject for a page but I didn't think so at the time :o)

Thank you so much to everyone for the lovely birthday wishes. I have a very busy week off work this week, I might add that I mean busy enjoying myself :o)
For my actual birthday yesterday, I spent the day making cards (the rest of the thank you card order) and a trip to PDA to get proper brown envelopes for them (not the buff things you buy at any stationers) and reclining watching TV, not very exciting but restful and relaxing, something I don't do very often :o) My friends and I don't buy pressies for each other any more, we go out to lunch instead, and I have already had lunch with my Granddaughter, and I'm out with my cousin today for lunch, and with a friend on Sunday and several others throughout the month, so my birthday celebrations will be ongoing for all of March YAYYYYYYYYYY. Of course, I can't answer for how much weight I will have gained by the end of the month :o)

I must be crazy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I told my cousin yesterday I would make 50 of these for her by Thursday morning! It's a good job they are simple, this is the first 10 and all the others are folded and cut to size, just got to stamp them.

Beige coloured card from PDA, PB Queen Anne's Lace stamp and SU sentiment, Memento cocoa inkpad.
They couldn't possibly be much simpler :o)
