Great tit

Good morning everyone, what a grey day it is here, but so warm and humid!
Another one of my photograph cards this morning, I hope you like it. I have to be quite brief as I am off out to visit my cousin for the day and we will be going out for a pub lunch so no washing up YAYYYYYYYY.

As usual, I have feathered the photograph in PSP and printed it straight onto the white linen card which I cut and folded to 5x7. I then embossed it using my new embossing folder. I took the photograph at St Chad's Water, (about 3 miles from where I live), earlier this year :o)

Resist stamping

Good morning everyone, I hope all is well in your world. The sun is shining in my world at the moment so I hope it stays that way as I have to go out and get my new glasses today. Hopefully everything will be a tad less hazy once I have them :o)
I thought it was time I did some stamping so here it is, just the one card.

I cut and folded plain white card to 5x7, then stamped with versamark using my favourite agapanthus cluster stamp. Heat embossed using detail white embossing powder then lightly chalked all over. I heat embossed the same stamp onto more plain white card with Cosmic Shimmer lava black Aurora then cut out with a Nestie, then inked around the edges and popped it with foam pads :o)

For a lady who is nutty about fire engines

Good morning Bloggers, I hope all is well with you and that you are not in an area of flooding with this incessant rain :o(  I had planned on popping to Belper Riverside Gardens with my cameras today but perhaps it was not one of my better ideas. Methinks I will wait for a few days of dry weather!
Oh well, on to my cards for today. My friend's daughter in law works in the fire service and she is potty about fire engines :o)

I took the photographs in 2008 at a boat rally in Langley Mill Basin.
The flames are PSP tubes

The insert is the same for both cards

Base cards are cream linen card cut and folded to size. The first one is 5x7 and the second one is A6. I hope I haven't overdone the flames :o) The photographs are printed onto Papermania Vanilla cream textured card then cut out with Nesties, and layered with red Bazzill.

The positive and the negative

Good morning Bloggers, I hope that all is well with you and yours.
I have two cards to show you this morning, one made with the positive and the other made with the negative from the Cheery Lynn very large flourish die. The cards are quite large, one A5 and the other 8x6 so you can get an idea of how large this die is if you have never seen it!

This is the positive one, stamped images and sentiment are from Lindsay Mason

I chalked lightly in the leaf bits on this one then added the SU flutterbies. Two very simple cards :o)

A bit of an experiment, set of 6 cards

Good morning Bloggers, it's wonderful to be able to access all parts of my blog thanks to Google Chrome. I downloaded it yesterday and so far it's working beautifully (everything crossed).
My cards this morning are a bit of an experiment, I wanted to see if I could do it and I did, so I'm a happy bunny. They are all A6 and all printed straight onto the Bazzill card :o)

All my own photographs of course. I designed them in MS Word and used the auto shapes for the frames and Papyrus font for the captions. The Amur leopard pic was taken at Twycross Zoo, the killer whale at Sea World Florida, the cars and motor cycle at a 1940s weekend at Butterley Station and you can see where the windsurfing one was taken :o)

Wedding or engagement card

Stop Press! I have changed to Google Chrome and now my blog is behaving beautifully (fingers crossed) :o)

Good morning Bloggers, I am hoping I can upload this, but we will see! I am still having problems with blogger and it's driving me crazy. I am having to go the long way round to visit you but hopefully I will get to you eventually. Once I get in I can do most things but I cannot access my comment moderation page so if your comment hasn't appeared yet that is why. I can read them in my emails though so I have seen all the lovely comments that haven't yet appeared on my blog, thank you so much everyone :o)
On to my card for today, whit is a tad OTT for me but I am quite happy with it.

There are a couple of firsts on this one for me. First time using pins and first time using my Marianne Anja corner, although you can't see much of it LOL.
Dies used are Marianne, Cheery Lynn and Nesties, punches used are Woodware and Leone Em, and it's all put together on  a 5x7 basecard which I cut anf folded from white linen card.
I do hope this loads up okay (fingers crossed) :o)

Blogger is being naughty + a couple of cards

Blogger won't let me in to see my reading list, or to publish any comments that are sitting waiting to be moderated BooHoo. Every time I try I get Error bX-io90b but I can't get in to tell them about it! I had to get in here by several back doors so I don't even know if it will let me post this :o(
Anyhow, I will carry an and see what happens.
I don't think I have posted these two cards before but I am sure you will all let me know if I have LOL

I spotted these Canada geese sunning themselves on the weir at Darley Abbey Mills, near Derby, and just had to take photographs. Then of course I just had to feather them in PSP, then printed straight onto white linen card which I cut and folded to 5x7, my favaourite card size of the moment. I printed the same images inside as I think it adds to it. I did the embossing with the GC. I hope you like them, IF you get to see them. Fingers crossed it will publish :o)

Christmas card + a welcome

Good morning Bloggers, and welcome to new follower Caroline :o)
Time to get back to making Christmas cards so here is a set of 4, each using 2 of my own photographs.

The background on the second card is a photograph I took at Darley Park, near Derby,  3 years ago. The others were taken at Elvaston Castle Country Park, also near Derby,  18 months ago. The robins were taken at St. Chad's Water, just about 3 miles from me, in January this year. I feathered the robins in PSP and added them and the text to the background photographs at the same time. Christmas tree die is Marianne and the rest are Memory box, all cut from Bazzill which is a good match for the robins breast. All cardstock is white linencard, cut and folded to 5x7 :o)

A couple more from the Norfolk broads

Good morning everyone, I hope all is well with you. I've given up discussing the weather!!!!!
Onto my cards which are part of the Norfolk Broads set I did with the beach huts and lighthouse which can be seen here

Base cards are white linen cut and folded to 5x7, images are, of course, my own photographs printed onto and backed with Bazzill, cut with Grand Nesties on the GC. Foliage is from Cheery Lynn and Marianne dies and sorry, not too sure of the stamps, possibly Hampton Arts inked with Memento London fog :o)

I'm off out soon so I will get straight onto my card for today!

Quite a simple card, all dies from Cheery Lyn (lattice), Marianne (tree and poinsettia) and Memory Box (leaves. Stamp is unknown but may be Woodware. Tree and lattice cut from white glittercard, poinsettia and leaves cut from Bazzill. Base card is my favourite white linen card cut and folded to 5x7. I hope you like it :o)

Good morning bloggers, I hope all is well in your world.
First I must welcome new follower Sue (Bearhouse). Hi there Sue, lovely to see you found you way to blogland :o)
Short post today as I have a friend coming over to see how I do things on the computer, so on to my card for today.  You have seen this meerkat baby previously but this time he is not printed straight onto the card.

For the kids

Good morning bloggers, I hope the day is being kind to you. I am soooooooooooooo relieved that it has cooled down, I can function properly again :o)
Happy Jubilee weekend to you all, I will think of you while I am at work this afternoon and Monday.
Onto my cards for today. I don't seem to do well on children's cards, I dread making them as much as some of you dread male cards LOL.

I can't believe it is 5 years since I took these photographs at Butterley Station, near Ripley, when they had a Thomas weekend. As usual, I have feathered the photographs in PSP and added the words in MS Word, then printed them onto the linen card which I cut and folded to 6x6. I haven't done the insides yet but they will have the same image tucked into a corner somwhere :o)
