Two more with the large circle burst die

Good morning everyone, I hope you are all well or getting there, hugs.

W ell I, for one, am so pleased that the temperature is dropping, yesterday I was so much more comfortable :o)

I have two more cards here to show you made using my favourite die of the moment, I have yet to use the small circle burst die but I am working on it!

As before, all white card used is linen from Papermill Direct. Silver and green mirri card from stash.
Sentiment stamped with Stamps and Smiles.

Very simple poppy card

Good morning everyone, I hope all is well in your world, hugs.

Well, it may have cooled down a tad, but for me it is not enough, I am still melting!

My card for today is a very simple one indeed, doesn't take much explaining. I made it several weeks ago and never got around to uploading it!

Base card is white linen from The Range, folded and cut to 5x5.
Pearlised white card embossed with Embossalicious A4 Quilt folder.
SU poppy stamped onto smooth white paper and coloured with copics, then cut with Spellbinders. Pearls from stash, coloured with copic to match the flower :o)

Two with my new die

Good morning everyone, I hope all is well in your world, Hugs.

It's not often that I buy new dies etc whilst they are still all the rage, I usually wait until all the hype has died down, but I couldn't resist the circle burst dies from Memory Box. I bought both the large and the small but haven't used the small one yet.

White card used is linen from Papermill Direct, folded and cut to 6x6 for the base card.
I diecut the white squares with the large circle bust die, then layers onto gold textured and red mirri card respectively, from stash.
All dies used are Memory Box.
Sentiments are from an ancient set with no name :o)

Birthday commission and a few pics

Good morning everyone, I hope you are not melting in the heat like I am!  Hugs.

My card for today is for a young man who has recently taking up playing golf, I hope he appreciates it (the card, that is)  :o)

Base card is, as usual, white linen from Papermill Direct, folded and cut to 7x5.
I open my photograph, taken a few years ago at Allestree Golf Course, Derby, in PSP then merged the digi image from Karen's Doodles and added the sentiment using Papyrus font.
I printed it, along with a second image, onto the same linen card.

This is what it looked like before I cut the main image to size and coloured them with Caran D'Ache watercolour pencils.
I then fussy cut the golfer and attached him to the main image and then layered it onto blue card from my scrap box.

Some of my Docrafts buddies and I have been discussing the lack of flutterbies this year but on Tuesday they were here and I managed to get a few photographs.

The first pic is a peacock flutterby, and the others are small tortoiseshell. The little beauties move so fast it was difficult to get decent pics but i managed these few :o)

Daisy birthday

Good morning everyone, I hope all is well in your world, here's a few hugs for those who want or need them {{{{{hugs}}}}}

I know that most of you are probably enjoying the current weather, but I'm afraid it is wiping me out, I feel so lifeless in all this heat. Bring back cool weather I say!

Onto my card for today. I have made one similar (but not quite the same) before, it is a style that I am quite partial too :o)

Base card is white linen from Papermill Direct, folded and cut to 7x5, then the edge punched with EK Success punch.
Flowers and leaves cut from scrap with Memory Box die (leaves) and Woodware punch (daisies).
Flower centres are jewelled brads bought years ago.
Sentiment stamped with My Creative Time :o)

Sunrise, sunset, take your pick, and a few photographs

Good morning everyone, I hope all is well in your world, hugs.

Did you get the thunderstorms? I have never in my life seen rain like we had here yesterday, it was bouncing up off the road at least a foot!!!!! Only trouble is it didn't cool it down any.

I warn you now that this post is picture heavy so get yourself  settled down with a cuppa :o)

I actually made this card a few weeks ago, but forgot to post it.
Base card is hammered white from Papermill Direct, folded and cut to 6x6.
Mat is black card from stash.
I inked up a square of white smooth card, then stamped with various stamps from Lavinia and Art Impressions. The tree stamp has no name on it, but I bought it second hand many years ago. All stamped with Memento inkpad.
There is any more I can say about it really, except that I hope you like it :o)

An now a few photographs, not my best but I was so happy to finally have the opportunity to take my cameras for a stroll after all the trials and tribulations of the last 18 months. I still can't walk far but at least my blue badge now gets me nearer to where I want to be
I spent literall just about 3/4 of an hour at Trent Lock the other day and OMG did I enjoy it.

Are you still awake? I hope I didn't bore you :o)

Another commission, this time for a happier occasion

Good morning everyone, here's a few hugs for those who need or  want them {{{{{hugs}}}}}.

I drove over to Macclesfield yesterday afternoon, a round trip of 100 miles, to visit a very dear friend. It is the furthest I have driven since my shoulder and back pains started/came back, and Stephen's stroke. I did suffer last night for the long drive, but it was worth every minute of it. Thank you Viv for your wonderful curry. At least now I know that I can do it Yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy :o)

It's been a while since I updated you all on Stephen's progress. On the 26th of this month it will be 11 months since he suffered a massive stroke, and whilst he still has difficulty communicating and his arm is still paralysed, his walking is phenomenal.  He uses his bus pass a lot and gets on and off buses regularly to get himself out and about. For those of you who do not know, Stephen is my son.

Anyhow, onto my card for today :o)

I was asked to make an 8x8 card and the only stipulation was that it must have the Sizzix Daisy on it.
8x8 card blank, I think it might be Papermania.
Pearlised card was embossed with my new A4 Embossalicious folder.
Sizzix Bigz daisy, one of my all time favourites and recently recued from languishing in the bottom of a box.  The daisy was cut from the same pearlised card, and lightly inked with silver Brilliance inkpad, although it doesn't show up on here.
Memory Box leaves and sentment mat cut from silver mirri card.
Sentiment is computer generated and cut with Spellbinders, as is the mat.
Leftover scraps were used to punch the flutterbies with Martha Stewart punch.
Inside panel cut with Spellbinders Grand Nesties.
I hope that I haven't put you all to sleep, this is a lot of writing for me :o)

Both images stamped with Hero Arts using Memento inkpad, then cut with Spellbinders.

Nothing else I can say about them really :o)

3 for the Christmas box

Good morning everyone, I hope all is well in your world, hugs.

This afternoon I am joining my friends for a craft day, and I am soooooooooooooo looking forward to it, I haven't seen some of them since my birthday on March 2nd. I can't be with them for the whole day because of having to get Stephen's meals etc for him, but I can leave him a packed tea and flask of coffee, and the afternoon/evening is better than nothing :o)

Onto my cards for today. I made these a few weeks ago but never got around to blogging them!

Card used is white hammered from Papermill Direct, pearlised white which I bought at Donnington Hall a couple of years ago and coloured card is from my scrap box.
The first one is 6x6, the second is A6 and the third is 7x5.
Backing paper is an ancient HOTP one.
Embossing folders are Cuttlebug and Crafts too.
Dies are Marianne (large tree) and Memory Box (star and deer).

Good morning everyone, I hope all is well in your world, and if it's not then I hope it soon will be, hugs to all of you.

My Very CAS card for today features a photograph of a beautiful osteospermum I took at a garden centre a couple of years or so ago, sadly I can't remember for sure which one but I think it might have been at Swarkestone!

Photograph printed onto the same card then cut with Spellbinders, as is the mat.
Purple mirri card is from my scrap box.

Sunflowers

Good morning everyone, I hope you are all well on this lovely sunny morning, hugs

I took this photograph at one of the many National Trust places I visited the year before last, but I can't remember which one!!!!!
Photograph printed onto white linen card from Papermill Direct, then cut with Spellbinders, as is the sentiment and both mats.
Base card is white hammered from the Papermill shop before they all closed, folded and cut to 6x6. Orange paper is from the same place.
I think the sentiment is from an SU set, too painful to go upstairs and check it out at the moment! White pearlised card embossed with Embossalicious.

Very simple card really :o)
