You've seen the blue set, now here is the red set

Good morning everyone, I hope all is well in your world...hugs.
I opened the curtains this morning and what did I see? Yes, rain, rain and more rain :o(
Oh well, there's nothing we can do about it so we may as well make the best of it!

I am off to Long Eaton this morning to take Stephen for his speech therapy.
I took him for his neuro therapy on Tuesday and he is doing so well that they asked him to make his own way there next week to see if he can plan a journey okay.  He goes out every day and uses his bus pass a lot, but he just gets on the bus to anywhere without planning, so they are really testing him now. No doubt I will be on tenterhooks while he is gone but I am sure that he will be alright (says she biting on her knuckles, LOL)

Anyhow, time to get onto my cards for today. I said when I posted the blue set that I was thinking of making a red set too, and here they are, or at least some of them!

All base cards are white hammered from the Papermill shop years ago, folded and cut to 6x6, then apertures cut with Spellbinder's Nesties.
Papers are from stash, also from years ago. They are HOTP except for the spotty one, which is Basic Grey.
Dies used are Memory Box,  flower punches are Woodware, and poinsettia is an SVG file from Penny Duncan and cut on the Cricut.
Various stamps used with Memento inkpad.
I hope you like them :o)

Another flutterby

Good morning everyone, I hope all is well as it can be in your world...hugs
What a gorgeous sunny morning it is too, everywhere looks so lovely when it's bathed in sunlight.
I am so chuffed with myself. I've always wanted to create a banner for my blog and I finally managed it, yippeeeeeeeeeeeeee LOL.
On to my card for today. I so enjoyed creating the flutterby on the last one that I decided I wanted to do a bigger one and here it is.

Base card is plain white folded and cut to 6x6.
New 6x6 Embossalicious folder, lightly chalked.
Flutterby is another Penny Duncan svg. I cut 5 sizes from MME card, the largest being 3.25" from top to tailtip, the smallest is 1.25". Gems from stash and the sentiment is from a Papermania stamp set. I hope you like it :o)

Butterfly flutterby

Good morning everyone, I hope all is well in your world...hugs
For once the sun is shining, we have wall to wall blue skies, the wind has finally dropped, and it feels quite warm :o)
For my card today I took inspiration from several I saw on DC.

I folded and cut white linen card to 5x7.
I used a Marianne cut and emboss folder for the main panel and layered it onto MME striped card from the same pad as the card I used for the flutterby (so sorry the front has gone and I can't remember which pad).
Most of the ones I saw on DC had used dies to cut the flutterbies and I haven't got those so I set to and cut them on the Cricut using a Penny  Duncan svg and I am quite pleased with the result :o)
The stamped sentiment comes from Lindsay Mason and alas it will be the only time I use it because when I pulled it off the block it came away in bits BooHoo!

Dancing in the moonlight

Oh wow, what a wonderful golden day yesterday. I saw the girls row to victory, and what a race it was, they demolished the rest. I had to go to work before Bradley  got his gold but managed to catch up late last night. Lets not forget the silver and bronze medals too. It's a good job I have a few cards in hand because I am glued to the Olympics at the moment :o)
Anyhow, I digress. My card for today is just something I was playing with and this is the result. Not sure it's quite what I was thinking of but HeyHo my cards rarely are!

I cut and folded white hammered card to 6x6.
The background was created using cotton wool balls and TH distress inks, then I used a white punched circle dabbed with orange, for the moon, and various stamps with black Memento inkpad  to create the scene. The larger mushrooms and the couple were cut on the Cricut using Penny Duncan SVG files.
Right, time to watch the Olympics now :o)

Not a poinsettia in sight !

Good morning everyone, I hope all is well with you :o)
I have not been able to make cards for a few days due to a frozen shoulder OUCH. If you have ever had one then you know how painful it is!
Anyhow, I finally managed to put a card together yesterday so here it is :o)

My apologies for the quality of the photograph but the light is not good for taking pics!
I cut the lattice on the Cricut using a Penny Duncan freebie svg.  McGill punched leaves and Woodware punched flowers, SU punch and sentiment. I sprayed the flowers with a smidgin of  CC gold spray. Flower centres is stickles :o)

It's that poinsettia again.....

..... I love it because I can cut it to any size I want :o)
Good morning everyone. After that glorious sunny day on Sunday I cannot believe the difference now, so dark and gloomy and very wet!!!!!!!!!!!!
Anyhow, onto my card which is very simple

I used Penny Duncan's svg poinsettia file again for this one and she very kindly gave permission for me to design a corner with it, thank you Penny
I used the flower centre from Marianne's poinsettia die set, and the sentiment is a Stampendous stamp. All the flowers were sprayed with CC glitterspray :o)
