Christmas 2, 3 and 4

Good morning everyone, I hope all is well in your world...hugs.

I was late up this morning so in a bit of a hurry, so here is my card share for today!

I found a pack of Papermania Kraftcard 5x5 blanks and envelopes when I was searching for something else, isn't that always the case? I must have had them for around 5 years!
I have userd all very old stamps and embossed with Stampendous Detail White powder.
On the last one, I coloured the hearts with Sakura Gelly Roll Stardust pen.
Very short and sweet :o)

Christmas x 5

Good morning Bloggers, I hope all is well in your world...hugs for all of you.

I am very late this morning so I will get on with it!

I have 5 cards for you today, all digi images merged onto my own photographs.

My photographs taken at Elvaston Castle about 5 years ago. All printed onto white linencard. Photographs and digi images merged in PSP7.
All digi images from Karen's Doodles and coloured with Copics and Sakura Pens.
All cards started off as A4 sheets of white linencard from The Range, which I folded and cut to 7x5 and just under 6x6.
Various card colours/types from stash used for layers, mostly from PDA.
A mix of sentiments, some computer generated and some stamped. Computer generated ones punched with SU.
Not really much else that I can say about them :o)

Christmas 33

Good morning everyone, I hope all is well in your world...hugs

Sorry it's another Christmas card but it will soon be here. I've been making them all year round but still only halfway there! I promise that the next one I post won't be a Christmas card, not so sure after that though LOL.

Just a simple scene but several layers about 6 of them!
Basecard is my usual white linencard, folded and cut to fir into a 6x6 envelope.
I designed the starlayer in SCAL and cut with my very old Cricut, then backed with silver mirri card.  the smaller stars were added with silver Sakura pen
Wavy glittercard layers cut with Spellbinder dies.
Tall trees embossed with Tim Holtz/Sizzix embossing folder, then handcut.
sentiment stamped with Anita's stamp then cut with Die-namics die.
My own stitched squre mat made into frame.
I have seen similar scene cards in Docraft galleries so I have to say it is a mishmash inspired by several people :o)

New stamp and embossing folder

Good morning everyone,  wet and fairly windy here after a very dry and warm week. I hope all is well in your world...hugs

My week off work is coming to an end already, it's absolutely flown by!!! Still, I managed to get out with my camera a couple of days, had a lovely pub lunch with my cousin, and a lovely afternoon with a dear friend, as well as being able to watch the Tour of Britain each afternoon, and on top of that, I got to make some cards too. Here is one of them :o)

The basecard is my usual A4 white linencard folded and cut to just under 6x6.
Pearlised panel embossed with my new Embossalicious folder, then sponged with gilding wax.
I stamped my new Woodware image onto white 160gsm card, then coloured with Copic and Sakura pens before handcutting them.  I cut the sticklike trunks off then attached the trees with sticky foam pads.
I cut three pieces of bog standard string and frays the ends for the roots, then coloured with Copic pen before glueing them on as tree trunks!
Sentiment is an un-named stamp, the cut with Die-namics stitched die.
After I hadmade this card a sat thinking that I could surely cut trees like that on my Cricut so I set too and designed some in SCAL, I will show you the resulting card/s later :o)

Pink poppy birthday

Good morning everyone, I hope all is well in your world...hugs

Thanks to a very kind blogger  who gave me a link, I bid for, and won, (for £8 +P&P) the retired Provocraft Tree set of dies used on my set of CAS tree cards so I will be able to make some more, big thanks to Jocelyn...hugs

My card for today uses only 1 piece from my bits boxes today and that is the image.

I stamped the image way back in the mists of time, and coloured with Sakura Gelly Roll Stardust pens. It's a shame that the shimmer is lost in the pic!
Stamp is a Hampton Arts one called Asian Poppy.
I was lucky enough to find one solitary A5 sheet of Papermania textured card of the right colour  in my stash, so I cut the mat out with Spellbinders and the Memory Box Poppy and Chloe Stem out of it.
Sentiment stamp is from old Stamps and Smiles set.
Base card is my usual white linen :o)

Blue Hydrandea...

...and yes, I am still using my bits. The only thing new about this is the base card!

Good morning everyone, I hope all is well in your world...hugs.

Once again, my card for today is made up from my bits boxes LOL.

Base card is my usual white linen, folded and cut to 7x5.
Hydrandgea stamp is an old one from Rubber Stampede.
Coloured with Sakura Gelly Roll Stardust pens, a shame that you can't see the sparkle in the photograph.
Foliage is Cheery Lynn diecuts.
Made the topper some years ago and them lost it, but now it is found LOL.

Here they are, all 40 of them

Good morning everyone, I hope all is well in your world...hugs.

After 3+ weeks of colouring, then folding, cutting, printing inserts and fitting them, here they are at last! Thank goodness that after all that, I do like them a lot, not often that I say that about my own work LOL.

Images are all from Karen's Doodles, printed straight onto white linen card, the coloured with Copics and Sakura Gelly Roll Stardust pens, then folded and cut to 7x5.
Font used for the text is Smarty Pants.
Glamour Dust adds a bit of sparkle but is not easily seen here!
Now I get to start on the remaining 6 card order, no colouring involved :o)

Christmas 72.....

.....and finally, this is my last Christmas card of the year for my own use!

Good morning everyone, I hope you are all well, or getting there...hugs.
Not too impressed with the dark wet days at the moment, but then, it is Autimn now!

Onto my card for today. You've seen these snowfolk before but this time they are printed straight onto the white linen card.

Coloured with Copics and Sakura pens, with a dash of Glamour Dust to finish them off. Sentiment is computer generated using the Smarty Pants font. I now have to make 21 for my cousin, that is 7 each of the singing snowfolk, the singing giraffes and the joy snowman. Many thanks for all the lovely comments on my previous cards, and for any that you leave on this one :o)

Herbert's in Love

Good morning everyone, I hope all is well in your world...hugs

Back to playing with merging digi images with my own photographs for this one, I do so love doing these type of cards :o)

I really couldn't resist this image of Herbert with the love of his life when I saw it, don't they make a cute couple?
Image once again from Karen's Doodles, they are perfect for merging. Photograph is one I took at Belper River Gardens a couple of years or so ago, with the bandstand in the background.
Coloured the happy couple with Copics and Sakura pens
Sentiment is computer generated using Viner Hand font :o)

1 image, 2 cards

Good morning Bloggers, I hope all is well in your world, here's a few hugs for those who need or want them {{{{{hugs}}}}}

Been playing with that snowman digi from Karen's Doodles again, he is such a happy fellow you just have to smile :o)

This one is similar, but not the same, as another one I made, scroll down to see it.
Base card is white linen from The Range, and I printed the image onto the same.
Image coloured with Sakura Gelly Roll Stardust pend and Copics.
Added a smidgin of Glamour Dust to give a bit of sparkle.

For this one I decided to have a go at printing him straight onto the linen card, then coloured him with the same Sakura pens as above.
Sentiment ic computer generated using Smarty Pants font :o)

Christmas 57 and 58

Good morning everyone, it's calm and dry out at the moment, not seen the forecast for today yet!
I hope all is well in your world...hugs.

Two quite different cards this morning, one is a digi image merged onto my own photograph, the other is stamped with an old stamp!

This one is another photograph I took at Elvaston Castle in 2009, with a digi image from Karen's Doodles merged into it, then Image coloured with Copics and Sakura pen.
Plain white card folded and cut to 6x6. Image matted with plain black card.

I bought this Elzybells stamp just before they closed down. You may have noticed by now that I don't usually do cute, but I do have the occasional cute stamps, not many though LOL.
Again, coloured with Copics then cut with Spellbinders as is the red mat.
Pearlised white card embossed with Embossalicious 6x6 folder, then edge inked with Memento inkpad :o)

Two more merged images

Good morning everyone, I hope all is well with you and yours...hugs

This mornings cards are both the same winter photograph I took at Elvasto Castle in 2009, with two more Karen's Doodles images that I bought about 2010 and have just now ressurected :o)

The first is Emma Bear, but I cannot remember the name of the snow angel!
A s usual I opened my photograph in PSP and added the images then merged them.
Both are printed onto white linen card the layered onto Red and pewter card respectively and layered onto the base card, which is the same linen card folded and cut to 7x5.
Both are coloured with copic and Sakura pens.
Sentiment stamps are old ones with no name on them :o)

Moose Christmas card Nos. 48 and 49

Good morning everyone, It's feeling a tad Autumnal this morning and I am loving it. I hope all is well in your world, hugs.

I have two cards to share with you today both featuring a digi image merged with one of my photographs. I do so enjoy making this kind of card because it combines my two favourite pastimes, cardmaking and photography :o)

Unfortunately I hade to attache the greeting to cover up the fact I had stamped it upside down straight onto the card LOL.
Both photographs are ones I took in 2009 at Elvaston Castle Country Park.
I opened the pics up in Paint Shop Pro and then added the Moose digi from Karen's Doodles.
I merge them then printed onto white linen card from Papermill Direct.
Coloured with Copics and Sakura pens.
Base card is the same linen card folded and cut to 7x5.
Gold mat is textured card from ?
Red mat is Papermania textured card.
Un-named sentiments stampd on and a smidgin' of Glamour Dust added and Bob's yer Uncle, job done :o)

.....and this is the first one completed so far!

Good morning everyone,  I hope you are all well or getting there, hugs

I am off to Macclesfield this afternoon to join my friends crafting, chinwagging, laughing, eating and generally having a wow of a time :o)

On to my card for today, I hope you like it :o)

I opened one of my winter photographs in PSP and merged this wonderful image from Karen's Doodles with it.
I printed the finished result onto white linen card and coloured the digi with Copics and Sakura Gelly Roll Stardust pens.

Yet another old stamp

Good morning everyone, I hope you are all well or getting there, hugs.

I am off to my cousin's today to deliver the golfing card shown earlier, and to go for a pub lunch with her :o)

Still on the theme of using old stamps, here is my card for today.

Base card is my usual white linen, folded and cut to 6x6.
I used a scrap of the same card to stamp this cute snow couple from Panny Black, then coloured them with Copics and Sakura Gelly Roll Stardust pens, then cut with Spellbinders and matted onto a scrap of textured silver card. I added a smidgeoun of Glamour Dust for the snow. Star cut with Memory Box die :o)

Sentiment is from and old Woodware set.

Been digging out old stamps

Good morning everyone, I hope all is well in your world, hugs. What a lovely sunny morning it is here in the Midlands, unlike the dark grey of yesterday :o)

On the spur of the moment, I had a "digging out" session of old rubber stamps, from more than 7 years ago. I know it's that long because I have been working at Morrison's for 7 1/4 years and they predate that!
Anyway, this is the first card made using one of those stamps, and I am happy to say that it doesn't look old fashioned :o) It is also a long time since I made DL size cards and this stamp lends itself well to this style methinks.

Base card is white linen from Papermill Direct, folded and cut to DL size.
I used the offcut to stamp on with this fabulous Stampendous image and then coloured with Caran D'Ache watercolour pencils and Sakura Gelly Roll Stardust pens, also from the same era as the stamp and still going strong after years of neglect.
Sentiment is another old Stampendous offering :o)

Rose corner + a wonderful day with very good friends.

Good morning Bloggers, and a happy BH Monday to you all whether you are off work or not. Alas, being in retail I have to work but the good news is that I get to have a day in lieu when I want it LOL.
Yesterday was my only day off for the holiday weekend but what a cracking day it was. I left here about 8.20am to go and join friends for a wonderful crafting day. There were 7 of us from near and far and what a day we had. Started of with bacon paninis and a cuppa, followed by a visit to Byrkley Park for retail therapy where I spent up so I am a broke but very happy bunny.  Got home about 7.45pm happily tired.
Back to our lovely hostess's house for a wonderful lunch buffet style and the obligatory cuppa, then it was playtime for the whole afternoon. I completed 3 cards and started two others to be finished her at home.
Finished off the day with a wonderful dinner of home made quiche and just about every salad item imaginable. We had already eaten pudding at lunch time LOL. I have yet to take pics of my new goodies and  my cards so will have to show you them later.
Anyhow, on to my card for today before you all nod off :o)

Base card is white linen folded and cut to 6x6.
The beautiful rose corner is a digi image from Delicious Doodles, coloured with Copics and Sakura gelly roll pens although you can't see the sparkle on the pic. I have had this image for some time so I don't know if it is still available. Cut with Nesties and layered onto pink card. Ribbon from stash and sentiment is a PB stamp.

Been colouring again

Good morning Bloggers, I hope all is well with you and yours...hugs
I broke up from work last night for a week Yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy. What I do with my week off depends on my car. It's booked in for MOT and cam belt renewal this morning so please keep everything crossed for me!
I'm on a roll now with the colouring so here's another one.

For this I've used a Delicious Doodles crocus digi which I love. Coloured with copics and although you can't see it on here, I have edged the petals with Sakura Gelly Roll pen then cut out with Nestie. Chalked the edge then attached straight onto the card which is white linen folded and cut to 7x5. I coloured the pearls with copic pen and the sentiment is stamped with, I think, Stamps and Smiles :o)
