more paper piecing

Good morning everyone, I hope you are all warm, dry and well as you can be.
A very warm welcome to new follower Jolara :o)
Here is another paper pieced one from me. This cute owl is from a must have stamp set I bought three or four years ago and never used!

I cut a 5" octogon template on the Cricut then drew round it on a 5.25" Papermania Kraftkard blank and cut the spare bits off.
The corrugated card is from PDA and I cut it with a Nestie.
I stamped the Papermania owl three times on different MME paper scraps and handcut the relevant parts. I have added Glossy Accents to the eyes. I made the flower using a Woodware punch and added a Stickles centre.
The tree branch is from a Marianne die and I cut the little birdie off it.
Owl is raised on sticky foam pads :o)

And now for something a little bit different for me

Good morning Everyone, I hope you are all warm, dry and well, and if you are not then here's a few {{{{{HUGS}}}}}
Much as I love playing with my photographs, I thought I would give you a little rest from them. It's a long time since I used this technique and I really enjoyed doing it so much I have a couple more in the pipeline.
Say hello to Sunbonnet Sue :o)

I folded and cut white linen card to 6x6.
I used an applique pattern for the image and used scraps of paper from stash for her. I covered her shoe with glossy accents to make them look like red patent. I punched the flower with Woodware form another paper scrap. The Nestie cut mats are Papermania textured card (can you tell that I love this card LOL). Added a scrap of ribbon and three little liquid pearl dots to finish :o)

Snowdrops

Good morning everyone, I hope you are all well, warm and dry. One day a white world, the next day not a bit of snow left. My thoughts are with those poor souls who are flooded yet again...sending hugs to all of you.

I have a couple of cards for you this morning, both with my own snowdrop photographs.

Both are white linen card folded and cut to 5x7.
Both images and mats cut with Nesties.
both photographs feathered in PSP7 and printed onto Papermania textured card.
2nd card edged with Martha Stewart punch.
Both quite simple :o)

8x8 anniversary

Good morning everyone, I hope all is as well as it can be in your world. I have decided not to talk about the weather today ;o)
I have several anniversaries coming up in the next few months so here's another card ready. I have, as usual, used my own photograph, I love the fact that I can print them any size I want, and as many times as I want :o)

I used a ready made 8x8 card blank for this one.
The rose is floribunda English Miss and I took the photograph at one of the NT places I visited in November. Feathered in Paint Shop Pro7 and the sentiment added using Viner Hand font. Printed onto Papermania textured card then cut with grand nestie as is the mat. Cheery Lynn flourish and a scrap of ribbon to finish :o)

And finally...I've managed to make a few cards

Good morning everyone, I hope you are all warm, safe and well in these very wintry conditions. We actually had some sun here yesterday and no extra snow. I live in a cul de sac so it's never gritted and the road is a rutted mass of ice still!
I am so pleased with myself because I have finally come out of the wilderness and been able to make some cards so here is the first one :o)

The image is my own photograph feathered, mirrored in PSP, then sentiment added using Viner Hand font, then printed onto Papermania textured card.
Image and mat cut with Go Kreate dies, leafy swirl cut with Cheery Lynn die.
Base card is white linencard folded and cut to A5 :o)

A few photographs

Good morning everyone, I hope you are all warm and well in this white winter wonderland!
For the first time this year I have been able to lift the cameras to take pics. I was so excited to be able to lift the big camera to snap this little wagtail in my garden yesterday. The snow pics I took with the little camera (one handed) on Friday. It's a bit picture heavy so get comfy with a cuppa :o)

I also managed at last to get some time in the craftroom yesterday so watch this space for cards soon :o)

A couple of Easter cards...

...made before my shoulder decided to misbehave!
What a white wonderland to wake up to this morning!
I am happy to report that the shoulder is improving slightly but I still can't drive or make cards BooHoo.
Anyhow, on to my cards for today

I used my own photographs for both cards, feathered and printed onto Papermania textured card then cut and matted with Marianne dies. The cross was cut with Nesties. Computer generated sentiment. White linen card was folded and cut to 6x6 and 7x5 :o)

An apology and a 21st birthday card

Good morning Bloggers. My apologies for neglecting you all over the past couple of weeks. I am currently suffering from a frozen shoulder which doesn't like me sitting at the computer for long at a time. I haven't yet been to work this year and I can't drive or make cards :o( I have to go back to the Doc's tomorrow or Friday to see if I have to have an injection...Ooooooooooh Ouch!
I will endeavor, over the next few weeks, to catch up on your uploads but it will be slow!
Luckily, I had made a few cards before my shoulder decided not to play fair and here is the first of them. The recipient's Mum has assured me that Lisa won't see the card on here, her birthday isn't until the 27th. I hope you are right Pam :o)

I folded and cut white card to 5x7. Sentiment is computer generated in Word and matted with two Nestie shapes. Vine is a Memory Box die cut from pearlised card.

Scrapbook pages with a difference...

...they have no embellishments at all!
These are three of my favourite photographs I have taken on Granddaughter Sian over the years, and I didn't want to take the eye away from the subject with irrelevant bits and pieces so I decided on a totally white background and title only. In these photographs Sian is 10, 14 and 16.
I started the scrapbook about 6 years ago and finally finished it with these three pages just in time for her to take it back to Uni with her on Sunday LOL.

I am so sorry folks, after reading something about what unscrupulous people can do with photographs grabbed from blogs I decided to withdraw these pics of my Granddaughter. Thank you for your lovely comments which I have left on :o)

Of course, blogger has put them in the wrong order but never mind, I think it's fairly obvious which age she is on each LOL.
I feathered the photographs in Paint Shop Pro and added the titles then printed them in Word. Isn't it amazing how much they change over the years! These pics show Sian in her hippy age, her goth age and her (I think) elegant young lady age.

I hope that 2013 brings every one lots to make you smile :o)
