A few more from my finds

Good morning everyone, I hope all is well with you and yours. What a day of glorious sunshine it was yesterday and it even felt quite mild. Enough to make the heart sing :o)
I drove a little bit further yesterday, all of 3 miles each way to Asda to get a few bits. I have no ill effects this morning from it so I will have another little drive today, just to Long Eaton to have my lunch at George's Tradition, I am suffering withdrawal symptoms so I am really looking forward to it LOL.
Anyhow, onto my cards for today. They are just 3 mini cards made with some more of my 'finds', they are only 4x4 but handy for the many general cards for Christmas.

Nothing exciting but very satisfying using up up the finds. I have a few more to go yet :o)

Canada geese anniversary

Good morning Bloggers, I hope all is well in your world and you are all warm and safe...hugs.
I am a bit excited because I had my first little drive for weeks yesterday, just a short journey  to the post office, about 1.5 miles round trip, and there doesn't seem to be any damage done to my shoulder so today I will try just a little bit further. I am taking it just one step at a time as I don't want to end up back to square one!
Back to an anniversary card with my own photograph for the moment, I am still making up cards from the stuff I found so watch this space :o)

I took this photograph at Darley Abbey Mills last summer. The geese were perched on a log stuck at the top of the weir. As usual, the photograph was feathered in PSP and then printed onto Papermania textured card from the Capsule collection, the sentiment added using Viner Hand font, then cut out with Go Kreate dies and attached to the white lined base card which was folded and cut to 7x5. Foliage was cut with a Sizzix die that hadn't seen the light of day for a long while!  :o)

A few Christmas cards

Good morning everyone, I hope you are all warm and well...hugs.
Today I intend getting everything done early so I can settle down to watch the last day of the world track cycling championships. We are top of the medal table so far with great possibilities for more today :o)
When I had a bit of a sort out recently I came across an envelope with lots of Christmas images that I had coloured 2 or 3 Christmases ago plus some handcut trees so I thought it was about time to get them used up. Here are the first 3 cards I made using them.

Thank you to Marianne for telling me this one is Pink Gem :o)

Sorry to say that I don't know whose the images are as it's been so long, maybe someone can help so that I can give credit for them! As stated, the trees are handcut then embossed and I even found my very neglected Quikcutz (sp?) squeeze and buckle dies so they had an airing too LOL. Holly die is Memory Box. All card used is from stash :o)

Set of 4 Easter cards, own photograph

Good morning everyone, I hope all is well in your world, and if not I hope it will be very soon...hugs

My cards for today are all made using the same duck photograph but different frames. You may remember my duck from last year, can't help using him again cuz I love him LOL. I added some of my daffodil photographs behind the duck on two of the cards.
All images are printed onto Papermania textured card as usual then cut with a variety of dies from Marianne, Spellbinder and Cheery Lynn, and sentiments are computer generated, then cut with Nesties and SU punches. Ribbon scraps, pearls (coloured with copics) and striped paper from stash :o)

Another new die set

Good afternoon everyone, I hope all is well in your world.
Well, I got on the bus on Saturday and off I went to Derby bus station, with the intention of getting on the first bus to leave there, which turned out to be heading out to Belper via lots of little villages. I had a lovely ride and although it was cold, the sun was shining beautifully. I'm afraid I didn't take any photographs at all as I couldn't manage to walk as far as the river gardens, but I did enjoy doing a bit of shopping before going into George's Tradition for my pensioner special lunch of their delicious fish and chips, bread and butter and a pot of tea, (I chose not to have the mushy peas) all for under a fiver. Then another little stroll and hopped on a bus for a more direct route home. A thoroughly enjoyable day, I must use my bus pass more often :o)
Anyhow, on to my card for today!

A very simple card really, I just used every die in my new Anja Squares set from Marianne. I cut them alternately from white and yellow card and layered them onto the 6x6 card (which I had folded and cut) with foam squares :o)

Thank you and a few cards

Good morning everyone, what a wonderful lot of bloggers you all are. Thank you so much for all your lovely messages, they lifted me a lot...hugs to all of you.
My cousin asked me for a set of ten 7x5 notecards with my flowers on. She prefers them to "ordinary boring letters" her words not mine LOL.
After I have finished uploading, as it's going to be a nice day, I am going to utilise my bus pass (as I can't drive at the moment) and head off to Derby bus station and see where buses go from there and get on one. I can only take my little camera so don't expect any great photographs, but at least I will have fun instead of sitting mooching and feeling sorry for myself :o)
Better make sure you have a cuppa and a biscuit, this is very photo heavy.

All my own photographs of course, and they are all printed onto A4 Papermania textured card from the Capsule collection, a sentiment added using Dauphin font, then folded and cut to 7x5. My cousin loved them, thank goodness.
I was able to make them, despite my shoulder misbehaving, as there were no fiddly bits.
I will do my best to catch up with commenting in the next few days :o)

Here we go again!

Good morning Bloggers, my apologies for being a bad blogger, I went back to work too early after my frozen shoulder with the result that I am nearly back to square one so it is difficult to sit at the computer more than a few minutes at a time because concentration keeps wandering through the pain :o(
I will be back asap :o)

Another chalked card

Good morning Bloggers, I hope all is well in your world. Let us spare a thought or two for those poor souls in N.E. America who have had more than 3 foot of snow. If our promised 2 inches of snow arrives today I shall not complain!
On to my card for today :o)

I folded and cut plain white card to 6x6.
Stamped image (sorry I can't remember where it's from but it might be Lindsay Mason)  with Versamark onto plain card then chalked it, then cut it and the mat with Nesties. Also stamped same image onto backing paper which is another corner of the same sheet I used for my previous chalked card.
Added ribbon and attached image with foam pads and Bob's yer Uncle, job done :o)
Stay warm and safe everyone!

OMG, one of my old cards has been chosen as inspiration and a challenge blog here
Seeing it has reminded me that I don't use my Cricut as much as I ought to so perhaps I should dust it off and plug it in once again LOL. My original post can be found here if you would like to have a peek to have a peek :o)

My new die

Good morning Bloggers, I hope all is well in your world :o)
A warm welcome to new follower Aussie Annie, I hope to hear from you soon.
I am off out to my friend's today and we will be going out to lunch for the first time this year so I am really looking forward to that. I lost January altogether with my shoulder not co-operating, so I am making up for it this month LOL.
On to my card for today. I bought this lovely die last Saturday so of course I had to use it almost immediately :o)

You have seen this rose photograph before but this time I changed it to sepia and I quite like the effect. Printed straight on to Papermania textured card and matted onto Marianne die cut from bronze pearl card, and raised on foam squares. Base card is also the same Papermania card folded and cut to 6x6.
I hope you like it :o)

It's that owl again

Good morning everyone, I hope all is well in your world and you haven't got the snow back. Keep warm and safe...hugs
Well, I have done my first shift at work for this year and it felt so good to go back. Yes, I really mean that LOL. January seemed like 6 months long and my first shift went by in a flash and I don't seem to have any ill effects so life is back to being good :o)
Anyhow, onto my card for today and the owl is back. I think it's a bit fussy but I will get over it LOL. I actually made this at the same time as the other one so that's my paper piecing done with for now :o)

all card used it Papermania textured card from the capsule collection.
I cut the white basecard to 5.5" with Go Kreate die on the Grand Calibur.
Owl stamped onto MME papers and hand cut then pieced together on Nestie cut backing.
SU sentiment stamp and punches.
Foliage cut with Cheery Lynn dies.
Flower punche with Woodware and Glossy Accents added to eyes :o)

Back to work

Good morning everyone, I hope all is well with you :o)
Well, for the first time this year I will be going to work on Monday. It is sooooooooooooo good to be back on the road. I missed my card making but I missed driving even more. The shoulder is still a bit iffy, but compared to what it was it's a doddle now!
Anyhow, on to my card for today. I have not bought any papers for about 5 years now and I don't really use them much, but I decided to have a sort out. I found papers I never knew I'd got, loads of them! All nicely filed in 12x12 storage folders now.

One of the 12x12 sheets I found had 4 different paper in 6x6 quarters, this is the first one. I stamped the flowers onto it with memento ink, then stamped with Versamark onto plain paper then chalked. Cut with Nesties and raised on sticky foam pads. Added gold Glamour Dust and stamped the sentiment from?  :o)
