I seem to be in white mode

Good morning everyone, I hope all is well in your world or getting there...hugs
Did you get that frost? It was quite a good one here so hopefully the Autumn colours will become more vibrant now!

Stephen continues to do well, he has such determination.

I am obviously going through a white phase at the moment and here is another one LOL.

I've had this snow village embossing folder for a few years now and it continues to be one of my favourites. I think it is a Cuttlebug folder. The deer is a Memory Box die and the greeting is an ancient one from a Stamps and Smiles set. As usual the size is 7x5 :o)

Definitely not a robin

Good morning everyone, I hope you missed the worst of the big storm. We were very lucky here in Derbyshire because it wasn't nearly as bad as forecast, thank goodness!
Well I promised no more robins for a wee while so here is a penguin for a change. I took this photograph a few years ago at Twycross Zoo :o)

White linen card folded and cut to 7x5.
I used my A4 Embossalicious folder on white pearlised card for the backing, then lightly chalked it. Penguin photograph printed onto Papermania textured card then cut with Nestie. Words are from an old SeeDs stamp set :o)

Different robin this time

Good morning everyone, I hope you all have the hatches battened down ready for the big storm later! I hope that none of you will be affected badly by it...hugs.
A great reason to stay in and craft don't you think!
Stephen continues to progress, he is so determined, bless him :o)
Yet another robin card from me I'm afraid, but I promise there will be something different for the next one LOL.

I had an accident with this one, dropped the inked stamp and it landed on the right edge so I had to cut it off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not too much damage but it means I have lost the right border. Not too sure if it looks unfinished!
I used white linen card folded and cut to 7x5.
White pearlised card embossed with A4 Embossalicious folder.
Dies used are Nesties and Cheery Lynn. Robin photograph printed as usual onto Papermania textured card. words are from an ancient SeeDs stamp set which I found whilst moving my craft room :o)

Same robin, different card

Good morning everyone, I hope you are all well and warm, or getting there...hugs
Stephen managed to look after himself quite well last night while I went back to work. I left him a flask of coffee and some sandwiches so he didn't starve LOL.

I decided on a square card this time and here it is :o)

White linen card folded and cut to 6x6.
Pearlised card panel embossed and attached.
Memory Box ivy vine die.
My robin photograph printed on my usual Papermania textured card then cut with die, sorry I can't remember who it's by! Chalked the edges then added a smidgin of Glamour Dust. Stamps and Smiles greeting punched with SU then chalked and attached with foam pads, as is the image, job done :o)

And finally.....

.....I made some cards Whooppeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee :o)
Good morning everyone on this very wet and wild Sunday. I hope all is as well in your world as it can be...hugs
Thank you so much to all of you for your good wishes for Stephen, who continues making progress and is catching up on more than seven weeks of not seeing the telly :o)
Yes, I finally got some crafting time in yesterday and I hope to do so today. I made two Christmas cards, and this is the first of them. I will show the other one another day :o)

Base card is my usual white linen folded and cut to 7x5 then lightly chalked around the edges.
The robin is, of course, my own photograph printed onto my favourite Papermania white textured card then cut with nestie, also lightly chalked, and raised on sticky foam.
Cheery Lynn flourish with a hint of Glamour Dust and the greeting stamp is from Stamps and Smiles.
It was so good to get back into the craftroom :o)

Stephen is home

Good morning everyone, I hope all is well in your world or getting there, it certainly is in my world.
Stephen came home yesterday afternoon and the first thing he did was checkout the downstairs rooms then off he went up the stairs (with me behind him just in case). He nodded approval at his new room and loves his new bed. I made him coffee and took it up and he was already reclining in front of the telly and waved at me with a grin to go and leave him.
Later on I came out of the bathroom to find him downstairs making coffee! The only thing he couldn't manage was to carry the coffee upstairs so I was at least handy for something LOL.
Hopefully now I will be able to organise my new craftroom so that I can start cardmaking again and even commenting :o)

Stephen update

Good morning my wonderful friends, Stephen is almost definitely coming home next Wednesday the 16th :o)
His occupational therapist came out to inspect his new bedroom for suitability yesterday and gave it a big thumbs up. She also measured up for a second stair rail so he has one each side, one for going up and one for going down, and for grab rails each side of the front door, and approved a chair for him so it all rests now with his progression.
I was in the gym yesterday where Stephen and others were having a little competition trying to get a basketball into the net and was amazed at his progress. He can now get up off the bed himself without holding on to anything, but then he needs to have a tripod stick to walk. His walking is getting stronger every day, they just have someone walking behind him in case he falls but they don't need to help him now.
They don't need to send a hospital bed home with him so I have now bought him a new bed which will be delivered the day before he comes home.
Today I am having a day off and spending it with my cousin and we will be going out for a pub lunch, then I will spend the evening with my daughter Susan. It is her first day back at work today.
I would like to say a very big THANK YOU to all of you for your support and prayers, from Stephen and from me :o)

Hopefully back to almost normal soon

Good morning my friends, and what wonderful friends you have all been, helping me get through this the last 6 weeks since Stephen had his stroke.
Things are moving fast now, with Stephen actually walking already-with help of course. He is still having much difficulty with talking. He can say words but not put them together into sentences. Each day brings a new word though so he is getting there :o)
I have had a meeting with Stephen's medical team and his estimated discharge date is the 16th of this month, although that is not set in stone. It is dependent on medical and physical aids etc. being put into place for him to come home to.
I now have to sort out power of attorney so that his finances can be dealt with.
Hopefully, fairly soon, I will be back to crafting.
Thank you all so much for your continued support, I love you all :o)
