The rest of my cousin's commission

Good morning everyone, I hope you are all warm, dry and well. Hugs for those who need or want them.
I am wasting away here waiting for my blood test appointment at 9.45am, I hate these fasting blood tests with a passion. I will no doubt fall upon my very late breakfast ravenously when I get home!!!!!

My cousin wanted 10 'Just a little note' cards along with the two birthday ones you have seen. I made about 17 so that she has choices. She tells me what she wants then leaves it to me but this time she did ask specifically for a couple with her own vase of roses on (the one on the left of the first picture). I am off to deliver all 12 cards to her as soon as I have given Stephen his lunch today, then my cousin and I will be having a pub lunch together :o)

As usual, I printed my photographs onto white Papermania textured card and added the text in MS Word, then folded and cut to 7x5. The inserts each contain a smaller image to match the front. There's not much else I can say about them really, hopefully they speak for themselves :o)

Peter's favourite corner, No 2 of my cousin's commissioned cards

Good morning everyone, I do hope you are all warm, dry and well {{{{{hugs}}}}}
This morning's offering is part of my cousin's commission for 12 cards. This one is for her OH and my photograph is of his favourite corner in his beloved garden. This is where he loves to sit with a good book and a cuppa after lunch in the summer :o)

Base card is PMS hammered white. My photograph is printed then matted onto Papermania textured card. Potted plant is SU coloured with copics then hand cut and mounted on foam pads. Sentiment added in Paint Shop Pro. A very simple card :o)

Commissioned card, own photograph

Good morning everyone, I hope all is well in your world, and if not, here's a few hugs {{{{{hugs}}}}}
I cannot believe how fast January is flying by, at this rate it will soon be Christmas again LOL.
My cousin asked me to make her some cards (12 of them) and this one is the first, for her brother. Before he retired about 10 years ago, he worked for the Environment Agency (formerly British Waterways) for many years and this scene, taken at Trent Meadows, Long Eaton, was "on his beat" and I was standing on a bridge when I took it.

Base card is white hammered from the Paper Mill Shop before they all closed, folded and cut to 7x5.
Blue card is from stash and probably came from the same place. The pale blue card which mats the main image is Papermania textured card as is the card I have printed my photograph onto. I added the sentiment in Paint Shop Pro.Embossing folder is an 8x8 one from Embossalicious and the leaf die is from Memory Box :o)

Two for you today, own photographs

Good morning Bloggers, I hope all is well in your world...hugs
I took Stephen for his physio and neuro therapy yesterday and they were really impressed with his progress :o)
I have two cards for you this morning as I didn't manage to do my usual Tuesday upload this week so without more ado, here they are.

For this one I used PMS white hammered card folded and cut to my favourite 7x5.
I embossed white pearlised card with A4 Embossalicious folder then layered it onto red Papermania card, the same as that backing my lily photograph which is printed onto white PM textured card, then cut with Nesties. I coloured white pearls with copic pen.

For this one I used plain white card. I had previously cut a 5" template with my Cricut and I drew round this on the folded card then cut with Xcut Guillotine. I then embossed the front with Crafts Too bamboo folder and I think the little edge folder is from Cuttlebug.
Printed my dahlia photograph onto PM textured card then cut it and the red PM backing with Nesties :o)

White and gold Christmas

Good morning everyone, I hope all is well in your world {{{{{hugs}}}}}

I am soooooooooooo loving my new Memory Box dies and here is my first card with them.

Methinks I will be making a lot of these as it is an easy make for batches.
PMS white hammered card folded and cut to 7x5.
Gold mirri card cut with Memory Box Frostyville border and star dies.
I also use gold mirri for the mat.
Crafts Too embossing folder used on the white pearlised background.
Very simple indeed :o)

Back to own photographs for a little while

Good morning everyone, I hope you are all well or on way to it...hugs

I have had lots of enquiries about son Stephen from you so here is a brief report :o)
He continues to do well with his walking and goes out everyday for little walks an his own. He started of doing little 15 minute walks and has now progressed to half hour at a time, sometimes twice a day :o)
Sadly his speech is still not good, and his arm is still paralysed, but it is only 4 1/2 months so there's time yet. There was never going to be a quick fix!

As for my shoulders, well they're not going to change until the Spring so it's a case of put up and shut up!

And now on to my card for the day. I couldn't leave my photographs out in the cold for very long and here is the first one. This is one of my favourite snowdrop pics.

I folded and cut PMS hammered white card to 7x5.
Green pearlised card was bought from Payperbox nearly 5 years ago and forms the layer behind the white pearlised embossed panel and the  the diecuts.
Dies used are Nesties and Memory Box.
A4 embossing folder from Embossalicious.
Photograph is printed onto my favourite Papermania textured card. Basically it's a very simple card :o)

Found my tapestry stamps.....

.....when I was looking for something else, as you do LOL. It's at least 5 years since they saw the light of day!
Good morning everyone, I hope you are all well or getting there...hugs. At least there's no frost out there this morning although it is wet, as usual!
As the title says, I found my long neglected Tapestry stamps so though it was about time they saw some ink again, and here is the result!

Here is is, inside and out.
White linencard folded and cut to approx. 6x6.
Aperture cut with Nestie circle.
Stamped with Memento inkpads.Inside panel cut with scalloped Nestie circle then stamped. Sentiment is, I think, Penny Black, but not sure about that!
A very simple one layer card and completely flat for posting :o)

Christmas card # 3 with new dies

Good afternoon everyone, I hope you are all warm, dry and well...hugs
My shoulders certainly don't like the cold wet weather. I've never suffered pain due to weather conditions before and it's giving me a healthy respect for those who suffer every winter!
Here is Christmas card No. 3. I really am determined to get well ahead this year :o)

Card used is PMS hammered white, folded and cut to 7x5, gold mirri, white glittercard and white pearlised.
Embossing folder is from Crafts Too and new deer and star dies are from Memory Box :o)

Vellum poinsettia, my second Christmas card for this year

Good morning everyone. Oh boy did we have the daddy of all storms overnight, the rain was coming down like stair rods! I hope you are all dry, warm and flood free...hugs
I wanted to see what the poinsettia would looked like in vellum so here it is, the jury is still out!

White linen card folded and cut to approx. 6x6, then cut aperture with Nestie.
Own photograph inside printed onto Papermania textured card and cut with same Nestie.
Marianne poinsettia, Cheery Lynn and Memory Box leaf dies.
Will add sentiment when needed :o)

Lupin birthday

Good morning everyone, I hope all is well in your world and that the awful weather conditions aren't affecting you {{{{{hugs}}}}}
We have finally got back to normal working hours after the holiday period, what a relief!
My card for today is another very simple one.

Another beautiful Delicious Doodles digi image. I do love lupins and it was a pleasure colouring it with copics. Base card is white linen card folded and cut to 7x5. You have probably gathered by now that this is my favourite size LOL.
Image and mat cut with nesties. Pink card is Papermania textured card.
Sentiment is from an ancient set of Stamps and Smiles stamps. White pearls coloured with copic pen.

My first Christmas card for 2014

Good morning everyone, I hope you are all safe, warm and dry in this latest wild and wet weather...hugs
As the title says, this is my first for Christmas 2014, but I actually made it on Christmas Eve 2013.

It's a very simple card. Base card is plain ivory folded and cut to approx 6x6.
I used the negative from my Memory Box Frostyville Border die and the letter were cut with my newly rediscovered Quikcutz dies. It's amazing what you find when you move your craft stuff from one room to another :o)

Late again, this is my first card made this year

Good afternoon everyone, I have suddenly developed an awful cold and sneezes, if you would care to take it away from me I would be so grateful!
I made this card and another one yesterday so it is truly the first of the year :o)
I am uploading this afternoon because I will be out early in the morning at the doctor's then the hairdresser's.

Base card is PMS mauve hammered card that I have had forever....... folded and cut to 7x5.
Image is a digi from Delicious Doodles which I have also had for a long time! Coloured with copics (I am really getting back into using my poor neglected copic again), cut with Grand Nestie then lightly chalked and a smidgin of Glamour Dust added to the petal edges.
Mat, also cut with G. Nestie, is Papermania textured card.
Sentiment is from an old Stamps and Smiles stamp set.
That's all there is to it.
Nothing new was used in the making of this card :o)
