It's not often that I manage it but this is for two challenges.
Prairie Fairie want a tent card over at
and Stamp Something want 2 of something over at
http://stampchallenges.blogspot.com/2010/05/2-of-something-challenge.html
so I thought, what better than my own photograph of Shamu the Killer Whale which I took in 1989 at Sea World, Florida and this very sweet Peachy Keen stamp, coloured with copics. DP is from our J&P Pictures May freebies, and of course the Martha Stewart punch around the page Shells fitted the bill perfectly :o)

I'm tickled pink!

I made the top 3 with my Winter Wonderland snow scene (scroll down to see it). I'm chuffed to bits :o)
I was out at 6.30 this morning attempting to do some weeding in my jungle! It was beautiful out there then. Unfortunately I am not a person who loves heat, it washes me out completely so I am looking forward to lower temperatures next week!
This is the first card I made using this technique and I really enjoyed doing it. I mean to make some more :o) I dug the butterfly stamp out from it's hiding place. it's been there 4 years unused and unloved but methinks it works well for this style of card so There may be more to come :o)

A couple of cards just because...

I made these two for no other reason than I wanted to :o)
I stamped the balloons at a friend's house then coloured with copics. I used own photograph. I chalked the background then scanned and printed it.
This one I made using SU stamps and J&P paper. Very simple but I like it.
Enjoy your weekend :o)

8x8 commissioned card

Good morning all :o)
I was asked by a workmate to make this and I am happy to say she was delighted with it :o)
It had to be pink with a bit of black.
DP is from our J&P Bulbs, corms, tubers and Rhizomes CD.
I sponged the edges on the front with Tim Holtz ink.
Sizzix and Martha Stewart came into play as well. No name on the handbag stamp!
For the little boot, I reduced the size of a card template to about a quarter.

I think I'm back!

What with being ill, then had to have the car MOTd, then bought my new laptop so the wi-fi router thingy had to be configured etc, then Virgin decided to change the email stuff so I've had no time to make anything at all BooHoo.
Well, after all that, the MOT only cost £60 which left more for my laptop which I bought on Thursday. I decided I needed another ext hard drive for backup and got a 16 gig memory stick very cheap too. Not content with my old tiny retractable mouse on the laptop (I can't get on with those silly pads) I went out this morning and bought a trackball for it :o)
I managed to do all the configuring etc myself (head's swelling) and load up my family history and graphics programmes and now I am happily broke again and cooking on gas YIPPEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
Hopefully now I can get on with crafting and soon have something to upload :o)

I don't believe it

I managed to post my cards, but now I've lost my reading list so I'm going to turn this thing of and sulk before I go completely crazy BooooHoooo
Jackie xx

OMG I did it again!

As if I'm not having trouble enough! I pressed the backspace key instead of hide preview :o(
Oh well, here is the one that wouldn't load into the other post so my fingers are crossed and everything else too :o)
I am going to try and post it now before I do something else daft and lose it again!

Been playing with vellum

Good morning Bloggers. I am hoping it will let me post this as it's acting up again this morning!
I made two cards but it won't upload the other one, may have to try it as a separate post.
I got the lattice effect idea from our hostess at our get together last week.
I cut the Sizzix flower and the MS flutterby from vellum and I do love them :o)

Better late than never!

I promised to get this finished and uploaded last week but what with illness and internet problems it's a little late :o)

We all made them at our craft get together last week, each using our own colours and decoration :o)
Our hostess Pauline gave us verbal step by step instructions which were very clear.
Thank you Pauline :o)

Good morning Bloggers

Firstly, thank you so much to all of you who have asked about my health over the past few days, I do so appreciate it and I am feeling so much better thank you although still coughing fit to bust! No doubt I will survive :o)
As well as being ill, I have not been able to access blogs or even put a message on mine due to all kinds of problems with Virgin. It has been so frustrating grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. Hopefully now I will be able play to catch up. I couldn't even access our own website, and yet strangely enough I had no problems accessing DC! How strange are the vagaries of cyberspace!
Love to you all, Jackie xx
