Fairy cards + my own wheat

Good morning Bloggers, I hope you are all well, my arm is virtually back to normal now :o)
I must say welcome to a new follower Freyja, thank you for joining me.
Onto my cards and particularly my wheat LOL. I am so chuffed that I managed to create the wheat from an old CorelDraw 7 image. I bought this version way back about 1997 but I never installed it on this machine. I suddenly thought of an image that I used to make some cards years ago, before I really got started in crafting and would you believe it, I have browsed it for hours and cannot find it. Still, I have found some other cracking images that I can make SCAL files from so I am a happy bunny :o)

The mushrooms are an svg file I found on the internet and I am sorry I cannot remember where. If you know please tell me so I can give credit where it's due.
I brayered some thin card for the background and used the offcuts to stamp the
main image. It's the first time these Lindsay Mason stamps have seen ink apart from the sentiment. Main images cut with Nesties :o)

A couple more simple cards + a big thank you

Good morning everyone. Thank you so much for all of your kind comments about my arm. Your good wishes have worked, my arm is nearly back to normal and I had a reasonable
night's sleep.
Now onto my cards, again very simple embossed cards but with a poinsettia added.

Embossing folders used are the ever faithful Cuttlebug Winter Scene and Craft concepts Candles, and the poinsettia was cut with a Marianne Designables die :o)

One I made earlier

Good morning bloggers. I hope you had a better Sunday than I did! My right shoulder decided to freeze and I was nearly crying with the pain. I got very little sleep on Saturday night and spent most of yesterday afternoon and evening nodding on the settee and yelling when I accidentally moved!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Still, it has eased quite a bit now and I got a bit more sleep last night!
Anyhow, here is my card, another one using a photograph I took at Elvaston Castle last December

This time I added a Marianne poinsettia and I used an MS punch on the mirri card mat. Yet another very simple card :o)

Not a Christmas card in sight.....

.....but I do still have some to show you yet LOL.
Good morning everyone, what a lovely Autumn morning it is too with hazy sunshine and that tiny nip in the air. I am finally comfortable with the temperature and I hope fervently that we do not get the temperatures promised for next week!
Anyhow, onto my cards which I have made using some of my Autumn photographs.

For the leaves card I created the leaf border in SCAL and cut it, and the single leaves, out on the Cricut. I opened all of the photographs in PSP and added borders, and in the case of the leaves card I also added the caption. For the other three cards I printed out larger photographs on plain paper for the backgrounds. The two stamps used are Hero Arts and the embossing powder is Papermania copper.
I am quite pleased with the end results but there is always room for improvement :o)

The last 5 of my 100

Good morning everyone, I hope you are all as well as you can be.
These were the last of my 100 target that I made on Tuesday morning WOOHOOOOOO

Apart from the snow family, which was a digi image I won last year from FFF, they are all old stamps that I resurrected from the bottom of the box! Coloured with a mixture of copics and stardust pens, and all cut out with nesties.
Today is the day for my weekly lunch at George's Tradition in Long Eaton so I am really looking forward to it :o)

A quartet of robin cards + I finally finished my 100

Yes, you read that right, I finally finished my 100 cards yesterday with 10 days to spare WeyHeyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy. Now I can get on to making my specials for friends and family.  Methinks I may have trouble getting out of Christmas mode by the time I have finished them all LOL
The sun is shining and it's wall to wall blue here after such a dull grey day yesterday. I hope the sun is shining for you.

I have used 1 Woodware and various MS punches
Have a lovely day everyone :o)

Autumn photographs

Good morning everyone, I hope all is well as it can be with you.
I took my cameras for a stroll around St Chad's Water on Sunday, it's only about 3 miles from here so it's one of my favourite haunts :o)

Once again, Blogger has loaded them in the wrong order but heyho, at least the are all there :o)

Very simple trio

Good morning Bloggers, Monday morning soon comes around doesn't it! Well I made a few more cards so I only have 9 to go then my 100 will be done Yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy.
These are very simple indeed

The stamp is from Elzybells and I bought it just before they closed. I have added a bit of gold glamour dust to the stars and palm trees, a bit of chalking and a bit of inking and that's all there is to them :o)

Only 1 simple card this morning

Good morning Bloggers. In total contrast to yesterday, the sun is shining and it's wall to wall blue sky :o) I only have 1 card to share today but hopefully I will be whittling away at those remaining 15 today.

As you can see, it is a very simple card with my own photograph, taken at Elvaston Castle a couple of years or so ago. I added a frame and caption to it in PSP, matted it onto black card, added a scrap of ribbon and there you have it :o)
Oh by the way, some of you got it right about my "deliberate" mistake yesterday, the first card I debossed forgetting the mirri card is single sided :o)

85 down, 15 to go!

Good morning Bloggers, I hope all is well with everyone :o)
When I got up at 6.50 this morning the sun was streaming through the window, then id gradually got darker and darker and the rain arrived. Now the sun is trying it's best to show it's face again so it looks like a day of changeable weather! As I will be at work this afternoon and evening I'm not really bothered LOL.
Anyway, on to my cards. I have now completed 85 of my 100 so I have another 15 to do before the 30th!

Once again, Blogger has chosen to upload them in a different order than the way I loaded them! Sorry they are all the same boring card but I love the way they all look so different in other colours. They were all made using the same Cuttlebug folder. I have to do simple to get them all made in time for my target date!
By the way, did you spot the deliberate mistake? If you didn't I will tell you what it is in my next post :o)

Gold and silver

Good morning Bloggers, I hope you have all survived the ravages of the tail end of
hurricane Katia!
I had a gold and silver day yesterday and made 6 cards, which brings my total to 80 of the 100 target I set myself by the end of this month. Here are 4 of the 6 that I made.

How come that it always loads them up in a different order to what a selected them in?????
Oh well, never mind eh!
As you can see, the couldn't be much more simple, but I quite like them. Once again I have used my wonderful Tim Holtz trees - my favourite embossing folder of all time - and just added a Sizzix reindeer, and the Papermania stockings for the other 2 cards :o)

Autumn floral

Good morning everyone. I can see from the puddles outside that it rained a lot overnight, did you get any? I can see a few blue bits though the cloud so hopefully it will clear away and be a nice day. Why can't it always rain when we are in bed and be nice in the daytime?
Anyhow, here is my card, the only one I managed to make yesterday as I am still sorting my craftroom out yet again!!!!!!!

The card, mat and leaves were all cut on the Cricut and the flower is from a McGill punch. Card used is plain brown, plain buff and pearlised copper all from stash, with a large bronze brad for the flower centre :o)

Two very simple cards

Good morning everyone, I hope all is well with you :o)
Not the best I've ever made but I decided I would show them to you anyway LOL.

The card above may not be the best ever, but I was chuffed that I managed to design the 'let it snow' caption and the snowman border. The HOTP paper is an offcut from years ago

This is my fave of the two. The buff coloured card is from PDA, the reindeer is, I think, a Sizzix diecut from a friend, and of course the TH tree embossing folder. Sentiment stamp has no name on it but I punched it with SU :o)

Not bauble cards for a change.....

.....but if you look closely you may see a few here and there :o)
They are all my own photographs.

This one is made up from 3 photographs, a scene in the snow at Elvaston Castle, a Christmas tree and a santa bauble. I put them all together in PSP. Holly punch (sorry it has no name on it) and I used a Marvey for the berries.

More jiggery pokery in PSP. I took the Southern Belle photograph in Florida in 1989, same Christmas tree as previous card and the marble staircase I took in Stockport Register Office when my brother got married there some years ago. The base card and mat were cut with a Nestie.

Another photograph taken at Elvasto Castle and a robin taken at Attenborough Nature Reserve. Trees are just elongated triangle tha I hand cut and embossed with Cuttlebug folder then added a smidgin of glamour dust.
The same tree again with a swirl cut on the Cricut and a Nestie mat :o)

Storage solutions

Good morning everyone, I hope the weather is being kind to you today :o)
On a friend's card to another friend, I noticed there was a cotton bobbin and it occured to me that I may be able to adapt it for all my loose bits of ribbon, which I mostly buy in 2m lengths. Anyway, I had a little play in SCAL, as you do, and here is the result.

I am quite chuffed with myself so I can go off to work with a smile on myself, or maybe that's going a bit too far LOL.
These are cut at 3" from top to bottom but you can cut them any size you like. You could group colours together, or types, but do wind the ribbon loosely or it will crease :o)

Oh dear, what a load of baubles

Good morning Bloggers, or maybe just 'morning' as it's far from good! It is blowing a gale and lashing rain this morning, not that I am complaining because we do desperately need it (the rain, not the wind). It's a great reason to shut myself in the craftroom :o)
I am sorry to say it is yet more Christmas cards and yes, even more baubles. My aim is 100 Christmas cards by the end of this month :o)

I have got 68 so far so only 32 to go, or is that 62 with 38 to go LOL.
All bauble except the blue were cut on the Cricut, the blue one cut with Sizzix die :o)
