A little rest from my photographs

Good afternoon Bloggers, I'm late on parade today as I went into Long Eaton to have breakfast with my 86 year old aunt in Asda cafe. She loves Asda so much that she breakfasts there every weekday after doing her job for the day. Yes, she still works so it must be in the blood LOL.
On to my card for today, I thought it was time to show you that I CAN make them with other than my photographs :)

It looks almost black and cream on the picture but it is brown and cream!
Believe it or not, I found a box full of this gorgeous cream linen card in my stash, totally forgotten and unloved, but now I am using it like there is no tomorrow and I wish I knew where I had got it from because I want MORE!!!. There were about 25 to 30 sheets in the box but that has gone down quite a bit now :o)
I cut and folded the card to 6x6, and used Memory box poppy die and I can't remember what the other one is called but it's also MB.Added the stamped sentiment in the corner and Bob's yer Uncle, job done! Sorry I can't remember who made the sentiment stamp :o)
Jackie xx
Update
I finally got to go into my craftrrom and check the border die and sentiment. It is memory Box Piestra Tile, and the sentiment is a PB stamp!

So very elegant Jackie.

I keep trying to get this die, but it always seems sold out, hubby says there's something to be learn there, I have far too much crafty stuff.

I love cream linen card jackie and like you don't use it enough.. makes a glorious change from stark white and gives the project an overall 'softer' look I think.. this is a truly beautiful card - love it.

hiya jackie, I havent been around for a bit so I'm catching up on your posts. I can see why you love that cream cardstock so much, it's really gorgeous. I think you do cards with photos and cards with die cuts equally fabulously so keep 'em coming! Oh and your aunt so deserves her Asda brekkie every day, what a trooper still working at 86, what a lady. CoB

Hi Jackie, lovely card - I do like the poppies and could easily persuade myself that I need that die. Your aunt is marvelous ... still working at 86 - she makes me feel like a slouch :) I think she so deserves that ASDA breakfast too. Elizabeth x

Hi Jackie, The Poppy die I think makes such pretty cards. I had to have it after seeing an earlier gorgeous card you made. This one just as gorgeous, love the colour combo. Did you find the stamp or have I temtped you to have a wee spend lol! The Sun finally broke through, what a super afternoon and evening it's been. Short lived i believe, back to rain. Wow, your Aunt is one wonderful lady still working. Carolxx

I do take you for granted Jackie. I'm a VERY bad friend for not visiting often enough, but when I do I get greeted with the most wonderful array of goodies imaginable! This looks a million dollars showing up on my monitor as Kraft linen. (Hmmm, someone should make that!) and chocolate brown, so I can't wait to see it in all it's cream linen glory in a couple of weeks! Not long now my friend!! Whey hey!! xxx
