Friend's anniversary card

Good morning everyone, I hope all is well with you wherever you are :o)
It looks like there may be just a hint of frost on the car but disappearing fast, thank goodness! I haven't got much planned for today. I have to finish my great grandson's card for his 7th birthday on Friday and then maybe have a play in the craftroom.
My card today is for a dear friend's anniversary, I have personalised the inside rather than the front.

Base card is plain white cut and folded to 5x7.
Image is my own photograph taken at Belper river gardens on a vet wet day in September,  cut with Nesties and matted onto pink card from stash. Embossed panel is pearlised card from Marianne cut and emboss folder, also matted onto pink card. I hope they like it :o)

Been playing with my photographs...

...and now there are fairies at the bottom of my garden!
Good morning everyone, I hope all is well in your world :o)
Firstly a belated welcome to my new follower Annette, thank you for joining me.
When I went to bed last night it was frosty, when I got up this morning it was raining!!!
Horror of horrors, I couldn't get on the internet for the first two hours, long enough to start getting withdrawal symptoms. At least it meant I got a few other bits done before I sat down to play LOL.
Anyhow, on to my cards for today, all experimental. Each is made up with three of my photographs and I hope you like them :o)

I took the toadstool pics at Baddesley Clinton Hall in Warwickshire, on Tuesday, and the fairy is from a pic I took of the Memphis Bell at Duxford 4 years ago. Her wings are from a flutterby pic I took many years ago at a flutterby farm in Somerset, or was it Dorset?

This mushroom ring was taken at Sudbury Hall a few weeks ago and as soon as I saw it I decided it had to have a fairy in it.

This is the pic of the Memphis Belle with the original image of her and my good friend PatEssex (Docrafts) tubed it then I added the flutterby wings :o)

Red and gold Christmas

Good morning everyone, I hope all is well in your world!
I had a wonderful day out in Warwickshire on Tuesday. The day was very grey but mild and dry although very wet underfoot. I will show a few pics later.
Onto my card for today. It is quite formal, but it couldn't get much simpler when you are in a hurry :o)

Base card is plain red cut and folded to A6. The gold card is from my scrap box, I wish I had some more of it! Can't remember who made the stamp but I heat embossed it with Stampendous detail gold, then cut with Nesties. I think I may do some of these in green :o)

Little Moreton Hall, Cheshire

Good morning everyone, thank goodness it's only misty rather than the fog they forecast!
I hope all is well in your world :o)
No cards today as I am off out with a friend to Baddesley Clinton in Warwickshire, I believe it is another moated Tudor mansion and I am looking forward to seeing it.
Here's a few of the photographs I took at Little Moreton Hall last month.

It was raining so the sky is featureless!

All mod cons :o)

The long gallery

Tudor servant making corn dollies

This is an amazing moated Tudor house which was started in the 15th century and added to over a period of time into the 16th century. Thank goodness that we have flushing loos nowadays :o)

Commissioned cards

Good morning Bloggers, hard to tell what it's like outside yet as it is still so dark, but it feels very mild. "They" do say that we have an Indian summer on the way tomorrow for about 3 days!
My cards today are commissioned by my cousin, I have to make 10 of each so guess what I will be doing today :o)

For this first one I cut and folded kraftkard to A6.
The Art Impressions stamp is heat embossed with Stampendous detail gold, then cut and matted with Nesties.
Holly is Memory Box and sentiment is computer generated using Dauphin font.

For my second card, I printed my own photograph onto Papermania textured card and added sentiment also using Dauphin font, then cut and folded to 4x4.
I hope you like them :o)

White and gold

Good morning Bloggers, I hope all is well in your world today. It has been very wet and wild in the night but the clouds are clearing and the blue is showing through now :o)
I am off to my cousin's for the day and we will go out for a pub lunch, then at teatime I'm off to my daughter's so my day is well taken care of!
On to my card which is fairly simple.

I cut and folded white linen card to 5x7.
Lattice cut with Cheery Lynn die, holly cut with Memory Box die and sentiment stamped (sorry, can't remember who made the stamp) and heat embossed with detail gold powder, then cut with Nestie.  I did say it was fairly simple :o)

Two sets of ten

Good morning Bloggers. Firstly I must welcome new follower Chrissy I love her very classy cards, they are always perfect.
It's very wet and windy out there this morning although the overnight rain has stopped. Methinks a craft day may be imminent :o)
My cards for today are very simple indeed. I made ten of each and the only thing inside is the same photograph, but smaller, in the bottom left hand corner and left blank for own message.

You have seen the stags before, but this time I opened them in MS Word, added a sentiment and printed them onto kraftkard. Both are folded and cut to A6. The first one I accidentally folded in the wrong place so I scored them three time to make a feature so I didn't have to throw one away :o)

No cards this morning...

... just a few photograph from my visit to Kedleston Hall and church a couple of weeks ago. Did you get up to the same thick frost that I got up to this morning. Hopefully it will intensify the Autumn colours!
I will let the pics speak for themselves so grab a cuppa and a biscuit and settle down to enjoy.

I hope you have enjoyed my little taster of the delights of this beautiful place :o)

New Grand M-Bossability folder

Good morning Bloggers, don't know what it's doing outside cuz it's still a bit dark! I hope all is well with everyone :o)
I am off out to lunch later with my friend Jean (a non crafter) so I am looking forward to that, then I go to my daughter's at teatime on Thursday's so my day is mapped out for me.
Oooops! Just opened the curtains and it is looking quite dull out there but at least it is dry!
Anyhow, onto my cards for today. 2 8x8 cards made using my brand new M-Bossability reversible A4 folder and I love it :o)

I was so pleased with my previous card using the Hero Arts woodblock stamps that I decided to try again only bigger this time. I used PB Queen Anne's lace stamp and others that have no names on this time, Memory Box corner die and SU greeting and punch. Ribbon scrap from stash.

For this one I used the other side of my M-Bossablity folder and my own sunflower photograph.
Another ribbon scrap from stash, computer generated sentiment  cut with Nesties :o)

Stamping for a change.....

.....before I forget how!
Good morning everyone, I hope all is well with you on this lovely sunny Autumn morning. A lovely change after the miserable grey day yesterday!
I was looking for something the other day in my craftroom and came across a set of Hero Arts woodblock stamps that I bought more than 5 years ago and they have NEVER been inked!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I had made a card at a workshop using their stamps and liked the effect so bought the stamps and the rest is history. Anyway, enough waffle, here is the card I made using them :o)

I cut and folded white linen card to 5x5.
Using Memento inks, I stamped the woodblocks onto plain white card, the stamped the agapanthus cluster onto it, then cut it and the mat with Nesties.
I found a scrap of pearlised bronze card in my stash and embossed with the Couture Creations tied together folder, and cut the Cheery Lynn foliage from the same card as the mat, more scraps. I think I finally justified buying those woodblock stamps LOL.
I hope you like it :o)

Set of 4 robin mini cards

Good morning Bloggers and what a glorious Autumn morning it is too now that the fog has cleared, the kind that makes you feel so good to be alive. I hope it is the same where you are. I had planned on staying home for a day of crafting but maybe I will change my mind and take my  cameras for a walk :o)
My card for today features my little robin photograph and I made a set of 4 mini cards with him. Methinks I may make a few more as they are so quick and easy to make for general use and of course, I can make them bigger if I want to. I find that robins are so popular for Christmas cards :o)

As usual, I have printed him onto Papermania textured card (do you get the idea that I so love this card for printing on?) and added the greeting in MS Word using the Dauphin font, then cut and folded to 4x4.
I hope you like him :o)

A couple I made and never blogged

Good morning everyone, I hope all is well with you :o).
By the way, I went to get my tyres sorted and was told they had at least another thousand miles in them yet YAYYYYYYYYYYYY

It's not often that I love my own work but I do love this one.
It's one of  those cards that I don't want to let go!
The image is my own lavender photograph and I used my Couture Creations Tied Together embossing folder for the first time.

This one is out of my comfort zone, I don't usually do sticky outy bits! I think it is growing on me now.
I don't know what the flower is, but it is in the Orangery at Caulke Abbey and it is so beautiful.
Top card is 5x7 and the round one is about 5.75
Dies used are Marianne, Memory Box and Grand Nesties.

Two pages today.....

.....I haven't done any scrapbooking since February, I can't believe it's been that long!
Good morning Bloggers, I hope all is well in your world on this lovely Autumn morning. I have to go into Long Eaton today as my two front tyres are virtually on the cusp of being illegal, so that's a lot of pennies that won't get spent on crafting, what a shame!
They are a bit minimal but I don't like embellishments taking the eyes away from the photographs. I did try a couple but preferred the "white space"  :o)

These were the first two places I visited after becoming a National Trust member a few weeks ago.
I usually print onto proper photograph card for pages, but decided to try it with my feathered pics printed onto the same Papermania textured card that I have been using for my cards. I do quite like the effect of canvas that it produces.
Both pages are 12x12 and the backing is from my stash so sorry, I don't know where it came from! For the journalling, I used plain parchment on which I printed a paper from J&P Pictures (now defunct). All are cut with Nesties and Woodware punch :o)
