An apology and a 21st birthday card

Good morning Bloggers. My apologies for neglecting you all over the past couple of weeks. I am currently suffering from a frozen shoulder which doesn't like me sitting at the computer for long at a time. I haven't yet been to work this year and I can't drive or make cards :o( I have to go back to the Doc's tomorrow or Friday to see if I have to have an injection...Ooooooooooh Ouch!
I will endeavor, over the next few weeks, to catch up on your uploads but it will be slow!
Luckily, I had made a few cards before my shoulder decided not to play fair and here is the first of them. The recipient's Mum has assured me that Lisa won't see the card on here, her birthday isn't until the 27th. I hope you are right Pam :o)

I folded and cut white card to 5x7. Sentiment is computer generated in Word and matted with two Nestie shapes. Vine is a Memory Box die cut from pearlised card.

A very elegant card Jackie... love the vine and the ovals you've used!

Glad to see you here again... though a frozen shoulder can be extremely painful and take a long time to go away completely... my OH had one a while back.. He said the best exercise he was given was to stand near a wall and slowly walk his fingers up the wall on the affected side. Just a little further each time.... helped lots apparently. Hope it eases soon for you!

Hugs

I was so pleased to see your post Jackie as I've been wondering if you were okay.

Can understand the problems of shoulder, I had the same about this time last year so I know the cold weather certainly won't be helping you.

You made a very elegant card for your friends daughter's birthday.

Take care and hope you are better soon.

Feel your pain. I had a frozen shoulder. I wasn't ready for the first shot...OUCH....the second I was ready....then on to physical therapy for 6 weeks. The PT never put me in the position to make me hurt...she was great. She "pushed" me to were it was uncomfortable, but never painful. Mine came from carrying heavy school books. I'm very carefule now. There is like at the end of the tunnel, but shots and then therapy and I wish you the best so you can do all the things you have missed doing and without pain.

Hi Jackie, just catching up, or perhaps I should say still catching up, after the holidays and only just read about your frozen shoulder - glad to hear it's improving enough for you to be able to lift your camera. It's a good few years ago now, but I developed the same, oh the pain! However, one injection worked wonders. Take care and keep warm. Elizabeth xx
