Here is another paper pieced one from me. This cute owl is from a must have stamp set I bought three or four years ago and never used!
I cut a 5" octogon template on the Cricut then drew round it on a 5.25" Papermania Kraftkard blank and cut the spare bits off.
The corrugated card is from PDA and I cut it with a Nestie.
I stamped the Papermania owl three times on different MME paper scraps and handcut the relevant parts. I have added Glossy Accents to the eyes. I made the flower using a Woodware punch and added a Stickles centre.
The tree branch is from a Marianne die and I cut the little birdie off it.
Owl is raised on sticky foam pads :o)

hahaha...love your opening statement...it is oh so true! The card is adorable and I can see all the planning and time put into it as well as how you wrote about all you had to do to create this wonderful card. I just ordered owl charms to put on my cards. Someone is really going to enjoy receiving this card.
