Something different for me, I cheated! I

Good morning everyone, I hope you are all well or getting there...hugs
Oh woe is me, my beloved PC has died :o( I have had to dig out the laptop and I don't like it. It has Windows 7 on it and I love XP, which I have on my PC! I have taken it to the PC doctor but he has a 4 day queue so it won't be looked at until next week and by then this laptop will have driven me crazy. Thank goodness I never save anything to the computer, I always work from external hard drives so my 20,000+ photographs are safe...phew!!!
The only thing I have lost is my email addies, so I will have to wait to get emails from folks who I normally email because I can't remember them all!!!!!
Anyhow, I must stop waffling and get to my cards for today, which is where the cheating in the title comes in. I was idly googling the other day for free public domain Santa images and found a few that I liked so here are the first ones.

of course I had to add my Marianne diecut tree to the first one and my  Memory Box deer to the second one

For the second two I opened them in PSP and again I added MB deer and winter tree diecuts.
I am quite pleased with the results :o)

These are stunning Jackie, the background scene looks wonderful and I love the dies you have added.
Sorry to hear about your PC, luckily you use an external hard drive. I always use the main PC for blogging, I really don't get on well with laptops so you have my sympathies!

Sorry to hear about your pc hun - I have no experience of Windows 7 - we went straight from XP to Windows 8. I nearly went into meltdown. Had it since June and I still hate it!! Loving your cards, that's what a true crafter does, takes one thing and makes it special. Hugs xx

Wow Jackie, these are all so beautiful. Love how the diecuts add so much depth to the image. You should be pleased with the results - they really are stunning!

My laptop died this afternoon - just suddenly shut down without warning and trying to fix it myself. Wouldn't even turn on for hours. FINALLY got it to turn on a few minutes ago but I don't hold out much hope. Maybe my system repair disk will fix whatever is wrong (?). Luckily, I have my daughter's laptop that I can use in the meantime. I loved Windows XP - it was a great system. Sad that Microsoft will be stopping support for it in April 2014 :-(

Love them, especially the last one. I lost all my photos from the past two years a couple of weeks ago because my computer decided to delete the iPhoto programme. Normally I back up all my photos on an external hard drive, but somehow never got round to doing the last lot. So lost all our holiday photos from the past two years and other bits etc. grhhhhhh.
