Good morning everyone, I hope you are all well, warm and dry. Here's a few hugs for those who want or need them {{{{{hugs}}}}}
For my card today, I decided once and for all to have a final go at getting inky and messy without having to throw the results in the bin, which is where they usually end up, so here is the result. Inspired by the lovely Doreen
If you haven't seen Doreen's wonderful moonlit scenes then do go and have a look. I have a long way to go but at least it's a start.
I used a piece of old linen card from ? as I didn't want to waste my lovely new linen card.
I am no good at brayering so I used cotton wool pads, the sort used for cleaning your face, and rubbed the ink in with a circular motion.
Various stamps were used along with Memento inks. One thing I did discover is that I don't have a big enough range of colours in my distress inks so they are one the ever growing wants list!
I layered the panel onto black card and then onto the base card which is the same linen card folded and cut to 6x6.
A scrap of ribbon from stash finished off. Nothing new was used in the construction of this card :o)

Great job here Jackie!
Jackie love this you have created a beautiful card know what you mean though Doreen's cards are fab and I thank god she showed me how to do this type of card by doing a tutorial for me. Love alison xx
Such a change for you Jackie... but a lovely one! I like the style of this card... you've really got a feel for the atmosphere.. and I think the ink was probably better rubbed than brayered onto the linen card... maybe the brayer wouldn't have got into the linen texture..
It's fab!
