First Christmas card order of 2011

Yes, you read that right. My friend asked me to design a simple flat card for next Christmas! These are the samples I have made for her to choose from :o)

As you can see with the above cards, I have made a silver/white one and a gold/cream one of each as she couldn't make up her mind which she would prefer. All are heat embossed directly onto the card base :o)

These two are one offs in silver/white.
The first being the only one which is matted and layered.

I hope you haven't nodded off yet because I would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your wonderful comments and support over the last year, and wish everyone a Happy and Healthy New Year :o)
Now I am going to dose myself up and try and get rid of this nasty cough and cold I seem to have developed since getting home from work yesterday!

Just stumbled onto your blog and I LOVE, LOVE your Christmas cards!! The first one - the ornaments on a swirly bough - is exquisite! So simple yet so striking! What stamp company is it from? I am in the USA - evidently you aren't -
so maybe I couldn't get it anyway?
I don't even know anything about blogging, so don't know if you can answer me.

Happy New Year to you too Jackie and thanks for all your wonderful comments on my blog last year.

WOW stunning cards, all very classy. I would struggle if I had to chose just one or two of them and hopefully your friend will too, maybe she will just have to have the lot.

Wishing you a really speedy recovery from the lurgy and I know exactly how you feel.

Take care

Just shows that with a good stamp and a great design you don't need lots of dimension to create impact. Love all these Jackie, especially the firt couple. coB
