Not too sure that these work.....

.....I would love your opinions. Do they work on patterned paper, or is it just that this paper is a bit too bold, maybe a more subtle paper would be better! I would love your opinions

I really cannot make up my mind :o)

My opinion is that they look great but slightly less bold paper might make the embossing stand out more best wishes Lelsey

Morning Jackie, Both cards are lovely, but I think the one with the lighter embossing stands out better on this paper.....other than that Jackie they work fine.xx

I think this works Jackie! To be honest, I think it makes the whole look quite subtle.

I love checked patterns Jackie but must agree with the others, a bit bold as it seems to stand out more than the image! How about the image embossed with one of the colours from the check onto white or cream card and matted and laired with a ribbon running across, sorry getting carried away here, you've got me thinking I would like to have a bash lol . Would have a country Christmas feel to it, don;t you think. Carolxx

Hi Jackie, I do like them, but agree with the others that lighter colour papers would show the embossing up better.

Yes, it does work on patterned paper. I think the white embossing works best, but that might be because the paper on the first card is quite bright. I think it works though - would love to see more!

I think they work beautifully Jackie! I'm partial to the second one because the stamp in white is a bit easier to see all the beautiful details. Lovely! Hugs, J:)

I like the bold paper - I maybe would have used the bold paper but embossed onto plain coloured coordinated paper and layered it - off to look at your others now!

Beautiful cards Jackie. I especially like the one stamped in white, the image stands out more on that one. Sue.x
