Variations on a theme

Good morning Bloggers, I hope all is well with everyone.
I am so disappointed that we have had cloud cover for the last two nights so no chance of seeing Aurora Borealis :o(  Did any of you see it?
I cannot claim credit for the design of these cards, I saw something similar on the Docrafts gallery, I think it was HollyAnne! These are my take on Annie's cards.

All basecards are white linen cut and folded to 5x7
I used each of the only three Marianne cut and emboss folders that I posess, matted onto  mirricard (a blue, a red and a purple) and each card has a Marianne and a Memory Box diecut from glittercard and popped with sticky foam pads. It's not often that I love my own cards but I am delighted with these :o)

And so you should be delighted with the cards, still amazed at the amount of wonderful cards and scrapbook pages you produce. These are stunning. Really pleased to read that you love your GC, something I have been thinking about for a while. Have a lovely weekend.

Didn't see it either Jackie, although my daughter is adamant she did despite the cloud. I told her it might help if she looked north instead of west !

Love the sheer elegance of your card.

Jackie, these are really lovely - I like how you put the mirri card behind the cut out areas, it's a great splash of colour in your elegant cards. You make me want to order these dies for myself (must win the lottery soon, it's been on my To Do list for ages! LOL). I didnt know the Aurora Borealis would be seen anywhere but the north of england, but we've had too much cloud too so I don't know whether we'd have seen it here. CoB
