I thought I had better do some stamping before I forget how.....

Good morning everyone, I hope all is as well as it can be  in your world. I cannot believe it's 4 days since I posted. Where has the time gone? Life and work do get in the way sometimes!
I thought it was time to do some stamping for a change. I was watching my friends on Friday night using this technique (I joined them for a cuppa after shopping) so I decided to have a go. Mine isn't as good as theirs but heyho, better luck next time. I spent yesterday morning cutting silhouette figures out on my neglected Cricut to use on my next try.
Anyhow, I digress so without more ado here is my card :o)

It is an 8x8 card simply because I made the main image too big to go on a 6x6!
Call it a senior moment hehehehehe.
I sponged TH distress inks onto plain white card then got stamp happy with SU and Lindsay Mason. I think I may have been a bit heavy handed with the inks! I then layered onto plain black card. The border is the first of my 5 new dies and is a 12" Nestie.
It is such a simple card :o)

Hi Jackie, I'm just doing a bit of catching up as haven't been online much - it's been great seeing all your latest cards and reading your posts (and I did read them all!). this is a lovely card, the silhouettes look so nice against your inked background. Also love the anniversary gatefold card and the penguin Christmas cards: so individual to merge the penguin with the backgrounds! oh and I love the sound of your craft get-togethers, from the bacon sarnies onwards they sound brilliant, lol. Take care, will catch up again soon. CoB xx
