Good morning everyone, thank goodness it's only misty rather than the fog they forecast!
I hope all is well in your world :o)
No cards today as I am off out with a friend to Baddesley Clinton in Warwickshire, I believe it is another moated Tudor mansion and I am looking forward to seeing it.
Here's a few of the photographs I took at Little Moreton Hall last month.
It was raining so the sky is featureless!
The knot garden
Tudor house servant
All mod cons :o)
The long gallery
Tudor servant making corn dollies
This is an amazing moated Tudor house which was started in the 15th century and added to over a period of time into the 16th century. Thank goodness that we have flushing loos nowadays :o)

I'm afraid it's horrid here Jackie and the fog coming down thicker, but but hopefully the mist at your end will give way to some sunshine.
Have a lovely day out, I think you have a few more stately buildings in your neck of the woods, they are very thin on the ground around here.

Morning Jackie this is such a stunning house and guess the mod cons where very modern then better than digging a hole like the common people. Tee Hee. Great pictures as always and those costumes. I used to live near Ordsall Hall Salford and did this for my History project when at school gosh they got uo to things in those days. Naomi from Crafty Catz does this sort of thing for a living works in a lovely old building. Hope your trip went well.

Looks like a nice outing, Jackie. Life must have been so different then, I don't think I'd like to have that loo though! lol
Thank you Jackie - great photos! I love Little Moreton Hall - such a fab place to visit. I'm missing our trips to historic buildings in the UK. We have some older (not nearly so old) buildings here that are fun!
