A card and a cry on your shoulders

Good morning everyone, I hope all is well in your world. Hugs for those who need them.
I had a lovely afternoon yesterday, went to Trent Lock, took quite a few photographs, went in the pub for late lunch/early dinner and when I got home I found that I had left my camera back at the pub! Luckily it was my little Nikon, not my big one, I picked that one up and brought it home. I rang the pub immediately but of course no-one had seen it!  Oh well, lesson learned, I will have to get my card kitty purse out to get another one, sob.
Onto my card for today, nothing very exciting but it's the first I've made since my shoulder went stupid on me :o)

Made a set of three,  a little surprise present for my cousin. I took the photograph in her kitchen a couple of week ago. The rain had battered them down so her hubby cut them and brought them in. They had only been cut a few minutes.
I feathered the photograph in PSP and added the sentiment in Dauphin font, printed onto Papermania textured card, folded and cut to 7x5 and Bob's yer Uncle, job done :o)

Sounds like my kind of day Jackie. There is a real touch of elegance to tour card and the flowers look almost dimensional.

Oh Jackie, how sad. I left my bag in a pub a few weeks ago and luckily it was handed in. You just never know do you whether there is a good samaritan around or someone who thinks their luck is in. Sods Law. Your card is beautiful as are all your photographic ones, so individual. Wish my computer could handle a photo shop programme, alas is too old, even at just 8 years old - thats apple mac for you!! Hope your shoulder improves soon, nothing worse.

Good to see you crafting again Jackie. So sorry to hear about your Camera :( What a shame I so hate losing anything and not everyone is honest sadly.
I bought my hubby a little Nikon Coolpic L810 last Christmas to save taking big camera's out with us. I tend to still use my basic Fuji Finepix as I am not a wonderful Photographer...lol
Gorgeous card, the photo is beautiful and love the way you feathered it to soften the edges.
Huge Hugs Mau xx

A very sweet delicate card...looks like something for me...haha I'm sooooo sorry about your camera. I just don't understand how people can live with themselves after doing something like that. I left my bathing suit at the gym after swimming. I too realized what I had done and called immediately and even got back in my car....no bathing suit. Jackie, a stupid bathing suit that I wore on my body....yuck...some one wants it or needs it that bad, then i said let them have it. It had a very unique design so that woman will never be able to wear it at the pool. I was actually going to retire it anyway, but a yucky bathing suit. I would hate that my camera was taken...I just don't understand stealing and being able to live with oneself.

Hi Jackie, so sorry to read that you lost your camera and, worse still, that somebody didn't have the decency to hand it in! It's really hard on you having to spend your crafting pocket money to replace it.

The card is so pretty - love the image - beautiful flowers. Your cousin is going to be absolutely delighted.

Hope you have a good day, Elizabeth xx
