Peachy Keen challenge 06

I must be on a roll, this is my second this morning and it's only 8 o'clock!
The brief was to use one of the PK faces on anything!
I have cut the flowers on the Cricut from the TBB & more cart using MM papers and built it up with silicone glue. The face is from one of the PK Funny Flowers stamps. I took the photograph before the Glossy Accents had dried so it hasn't cleared yet. I'm too impatient :o)
The BC is a peach colour but doesn'e look it here.
Recipe:
BC is Bazzill Bling (note to self, must get some more)
DPs are from Making Memories
Cricut and cart Tags, bags, boxes and more
PK stamp (just the face)
Brads
ribbon
Glossy Accents
Silicone glue

First digi image

Good morning Bloggers :o)
This is the first time I have used a digi stamp and methinks it won't be my last!
I downloaded it from http://www.squigglefly.com/ and coloured with Copics.
I've had the DP a long time so don't know where it was from! Bird and flowers are attached to Bazzill Bling mat with silicone glue and the BC is Bazzill :o)

Brilliant get together

What a fantastic day we had yesterday. Seven of us met up for a crafting day hosted by our friend Pauline and her long suffering hubby Rob who ket us supplied with tea/coffee all day.
The lovely Rob had placed a box strategically just inside the door for us to place our chocolate offerings in :o)
We all converged on Derby from such farflung places as Liverpool, Macclesfield and Chapel en le Frith. We were feasted and entertained right royally and many thanks go to our hosts who excelled themselves.
These are the four cards I managed to make in the ten & a half hours I was there. We all raided each others stamps and stash and the lovely Viv allowed me to try her Pro Markers. I enjoyed using them but will stick with my Copics :o)

During the day we all piled into two cars and paid a visit to our local craft shop where I bought the Bee Happy stamp. It looked like a bus load had arrived when we invaded but we all enjoyed a bit of retail therapy and I am sure we managed to help boost profits for them :o)

Stamps and Smiles challenge card 25

This is my entry for the SASSC25 over at
I decided I would do a man card and printed out the DPs from our Pictures for the Men CD. Having got the papers I had to decide what to do with them so I raided my rubber stamps and found this one unloved and unused in the bottom of the box :o)
Of course I coloured him with Copics, cut the ball off and out it back on where I wanted it, raised with a foam pad, then did it with glossy Accents, added a dash of ribbon and 3 unknown brads and Bob's yer Uncle, here it is :o)
Recipe:
BC is my usual hammered white from PMS
DPs from J & P Pictures Pictures for the Men CD
Rubber stamp from Funstamps
Copics

Peachy Keen challenge 05

I made one before this then realised I couldn't use it because the person it's for would see it so I had to make this one in a hurry! I made my own DPs and of course I used my Copics for the colouring. Despite the main DP looking pink, it's really a pale orange. I raised the image and sentiment with silicone glue :o)
Recipe:
BC is my usual hammered white from PMS
Own DPs
Peachy Keen stamp
SU sentiment stamp
Dovecraft brads
ribbon scrap
Glossy Accents
Glamour dust

A couple of Christmas cards

One photograph, two cards, made using own photographs.
This one is A5, which I very rarely make. The large snowflake is cut with a Sizzix die and the small one is table confetti.
This one is A6, also not a size I make very often! Black Papermania pearls are the only bling I wanted on this one.
Whilst the photograph looks as though it's B&W, it is actually printed in colour, but that was the colour of the day when I took it :o)

Simon Says - summer fruits

This is my entry for the Simon Says - Summer fruits challenge over at http://simonsaysstampschallenge.blogspot.com/2009/07/simon-says-summer-fruits.html

I had no stamps with summer fruits on, or DPs, so I made my own from mine and Pat's fruity photographs which we took for our jam labels CD:o) Since I took the pic I've added a dusting of Glamour Dust to the cherry that Tilda is running along with! I coloured Tilda with Copics - of course, what else - then cut her out and attached her with silicone glue
Recipe:
BC is Bazzill Basics, I just love this card.

Peachy Keen challenge #04

This weeks entry to the Peachy Keen challenge had to have a greeting, 3 buttons and stripes. This set me searching my stash for buttons because you may have noticed that I very rarely use them. Anyway, I found some and this is my entry over at http://peachykeenstampschallenge.blogspot.com/2009/07/peachy-keen-stamps-sketch-challenge-04.html

Very simple card to make. I coloured the SU image with Copics - what else - and matted it onto the striped paper turned around. I lightly inked the edges. Had to scrabble looking for my wire cutters - haven't seen them since I was made redundant from my last job - to get the loop from the buttons smoothly!
Recipe:
BC is Coredinations black, a bit blingy
DPs are HOTP from a masculine stack
Image and sentiment are both from SU
Buttons from stash

Simon Says - Paper piece

Hopefully better late than never :o)
I have never done paper piecing before and I am not sure this will qualify, but I had fun making it anyway :o)
I syamped the elephant straight onto Bazzill Basics and Chatterbox - Rosey Bloom then cut them out. The Bazzill one is attached with foam pads but the Chatterbox one is attached with silicone glue so I could curl it a tad to give it a more 3D look.
Hand wrote the sentiment with Sakura Stardust pen
Recipe:
BC is my usual hammered white from PMS
Bazzill Basics
Chatterbox Rosey bloom
Papermania stripes & gems
a smidgeon of ribbon
My favourite Peachy Keen elephant :o)

I just love this sketch and really enjoyed making the card. Don't you think this is one cute elephant from Peachy Keen? :o) Used Copics for the colouring and I cut the round backing with the Cricut from the George & basic shapes cart. The ribbon came with a stamp order from Jennifer Meyer over at Stamps and smiles.

I just love the ikkle wellies on this one :o)

I stamped the flowers, which are coloured with Marveys, all across on this one

Backing on these two is from K&Co

I really enjoyed making them as there was no deadline!
Many thanks to my good friend Viv for allowing me to use her birdie stamps when I was at her house last :o)

My first Winter Wonderland entry

This is my entry for Winter Wonderland's Christmas past challenge over at http://christmasblogchallenge.blogspot.com/2009/07/week-6-christmas-past.html I hope it fits the bill :o)

The main image is my own photograph taken at Elvaston Castle in the snow earlier this year.
I printed the sentiment straight onto the photograph. There is no name on the rubber stamp, which I have used many times. I stamped it 4 times and decoupaged it although it doesn't show up very well here. Snowflakes are table confetti. It was a very simple card (A5) to make :o)
Recipe:
BC is DCWV
Own photograph
Unknow rubber stamp

Simon Says - Colour combo for you

The colour combo had to include at least two of the colours which are watermelon, kiwi, lemon, orange and pink. I think I have managed all of them :o) All colouring I did with my Copics.
I hadn't got anything watermelon coloured so I took a photograph and created a DP from it. Ribbons are yellow and orange, flowers orange, vase pink and the card is green for the kiwi :o)

I covered the BC with HOTP from stash. The stamp is one I borrowed at my very good friend Viv's house a while back, thank you Viv :o) Coloured with copics. DP was kindly donated to me by Pauline at Derby Dabblers last night because I forgot to take my Christmas papers! I'm afraid this weather has sozzled my brains, I was not in good cardmaking mode because a week of being mauled about by the oppressive heat and humidity has really taken it out of me :o(

Made this morning.....

.....because I wanted to play with my new Copics. I have a long way to go and more colours to buy, but that will hopefully come with time :o)

I stamped the image at a friend's house some time back so sorry, I don't know where it's from. I added the black patches myself. Base card is Coredinations and it's the first time I've tried sanding! Not having a sanding block made it difficult so I have to put one on my shopping list! Papaermania DPand ribbon plus SU sentiment stamp. Not a very long list :o)
