Trying again

Good morning fellow crafters, I hope all is well in your world, and here's some hugs if you need them {{{{{hugs}}}}}
I posted this one yesterday morning and it disappeared, so let's hope it posts okay this time! It's not even as if it's a masterpiece, so if it disappears this time I will know it is trying to tell me something LOL.
At the second time of asking, here it is. I decided to try inking onto very textured card to see what happened and this is the result. Could be better!

Papermania textured card is what I used for the inking, not really too successful but it's halfway there LOL.
I layered the image onto black PM textured card and then onto the base card which is white leatherlook card from Paper Mill Shop before they all closed down, yes I have had it that long! Various stamps used for the scene and finished off with a Memory Box tree diecut. The jury is still out on whether I like it or not :o)

Blogger has done some odd things recently Jackie, he did much the same to our Allsorts challenge not so long ago.

This card is a sheer delight Jackie and I like the effect from the textured card.

Your technique has created a very atmospheric card Jackie... love the red and black... with the gorgeous big sun!

I have card that goes back that long too in my cupboard.. I do miss those shops! I always used to come away with treasure. Ooh and by the way, I haven't forgotten the linen card.. and I will get it to you, don't know where my time goes lately!
