One folder, three cards

Good morning everyone,  I hope all is well with you, and if not then here's a few hugs {{{{{hugs}}}}}
Thank you for all of your kind words about my trial run without Statins. It's been 10 days now since I took my last one, but too soon to tell yet. The doctor says I need to be off them for a month to be certain, and if the pains ease, then I need to take them again for another month to see if they come back so we would know for sure whether it's them making it worse. Only time will tell!
For my walking problem, caused by lumbar disc degeneration, I am today posting off an application for a blue badge, please keep you fingers crossed for me :o)

With it being Bank Holiday week there have been no therapy sessions for Stephen this week, so I have made lots of cards and here are three of them.

For the first and third ones, I raided the scrap box for papers, for the second one I used a scrap of white linen card and inked the folder with Big and Juicy inkpad.
Folder is from Darice, bought it months ago and have only just now used it for the first time!
First and third ones are layered onto gold textured card, the second one layered onto red Bazzill. As I was using the embossing folder for the image I didn't want to detract from it with embellishments so kept them CAS.
On the third one I highlighted the dots with a gold uniball pen I found in my stash from my early crafting day and was delighted when it still worked LOL.
Sentiments are from SU and Stamps and Smiles. Pearls on the second one are coloured with Copic pen. I hope I haven't sent you all off to sleep with this long post! :o)

Hi Jackie, First ...Love the cards they are beautiful!
I had great problems with pain when I went on Statins...I have found I can cope with 10mg but no more.
I actually prefer to take Flora drinks. I know they are so expensive but they work miracles with Cholesterol...better than Benacol in my opinion.
Hope the badge is successful.
Love to everyone xxxxx
Hugs Mau xx

All three are fabulous Jackie... but (and to my surprise also)... my favourite is the blue with the gold!

Fingers crossed re the blue badge... when my late husband completed his, he was told to describe only what he could do on his very worst day.. Hope you did that.

Hello Jackie,

Sorry it's been so long but trying hard to get back into the swing of things and wanted to say hello and peek at what you have been up to starting with the lovely piece in this post.

Seeing your mention of Statins I am guessing they give you a lot of pain, they did hubby and he had to be really firm with the GP to eventually change them, so do keep nagging them. I tried it but too easy for them to blame my MS for the pain.

Very cool cards Jackie - love how you achieved such different looks with the same folder.

Hope that your pain eases. Makes me wonder if my back and neck troubles are exacerbated by my Statins too (?). Will have to check it out!
